Alright, so I'm having the problem where when I click to play Mass Effect 3, absolutely nothing happens - except this little black box appears and disappears pretty quickly. The program doens't give me an error message, nothing. Just a little black box pops up and then disappears quick as a flash.
I'm using a 32-bit version of Vista, if that helps at all.

Alright, at this point I fixed it (or at least, the game is allowing me to run it)! I did as follows;
Updated Direct X to newest version
uninstalled Origin / reinstalled (twice - it kept on giving me updates after each reinstall)
Restarted computer (again, twice, because just once didn't do the trick)
Finally, I ran it as an Administrator
