i asked about this in general, but it's getting knocked back so fast that people can't even see it. and i guess this is a technical question.

i own all the cerberus network and some other DLC for ME2

and so far i've found the inferno armor for sale, but i'm just wondering for some more explanations on this.

specifically the firepower pack (mattock) and aegis pack (insizor and kestral armor) if those are in the game. i did not buy these packs originally, but if thats the only way to get them, i want to go buy them before i start playing again today.

I don't think the armor DLC from ME2 is meant to carry over to ME3. Seeing the Inferno Armor is probably just a coincidence.

I saw mass effect 3 videos where shep was in his collector armor, I am wondering about this myself. I was under the impression that all the special stuff was going to transfer over to 3.

Someone had mentioned the stuff would be in a cargo box on the normandy, but all I found around the ship were boxes that had my old ship models.

The mattock is in the game whether you had the DLC or not. I did not, and I've found it already.
I have no seen any carry over of equipment from ME2, only levels. Which is a same - that Carnifex was a gift from Mordin and I was warmly attached to it.

Shepard probably had to sell it to a pawn shop during his stay on Earth to pay the bills.

I've seen the Collector Armor, Inferno Armor, Cerberus Armor, Blood Dragon Armor, and various weapons from ME2 in my game. Just go to the Citadel wards and browse all the shops.

Yeah what's with that? Technically we already own those stuff unless when the Normandy docked back at Alliance headquarters all of Shepard's stuff were taken.

Its not a bit amusing actually.

You are on a mission to save the universe and you still need to go shopping for things you should have already owned?

It wouldn't make much sense to start the game with the Superior Armor of Awesome and Chuck Norris' Shotgun of Reaperslaying, so it does make sense from a game design point of view.
