i'm 90% sure it's not true. The origins of the rumour started on Reddit, and the post that was supposedly posted by Woo can't be found anywhere.
Though, i was completely stunned when i first heard. it. I though it was official. Godamn that would've caused an uproar.

I found the apparent Woo post. Nah it's crap. The spelling is worse than Priestly's, and the general statement reeks of trolling. Don't worry OP, it's not true. Plus if such **** was true, the Ash thread would be bursting with activity.
