Maybe EA-Bioware offered those reviewers cameo's in the next game they make. More Diana allers, yeah! :(

EA-Bioware: "bad ending?; ah yes, we have dismissed that claim"

hold the line!

Bioware Listing good reviews. Does NOTHING to change my opinion of the game. The overwhelming majority of people hate the endings and as such think the game is a massive dissapointment. No matter how many times you mention that whoever gave the game a good review it is meaningless. I know what I feel and so do thousands of others, and it is NOT; great, must buy, 5/5, 9.5/10, blockbuster.

Nope what we feel is; OH MY GOD, WHAT THE HELL?, REALLY? NOOOO!, 0/5, 1 STAR, IS THIS A JOKE, 0/10, WHY IS CASPER HERE.

Just own up to the mistake and make a change. Please the only reason I and so many others are so passionate is because of how much we love this game. It was amazing, until casper came along....then it wasn't.

I love how all of the reviews have it 'right', and the vast majority of the fans have it 'wrong'. I don't care about reviews. I want to feel like my decisions counted for something, that the relationships I made counted, that the fleet I helped build actually showed up.

I too think Bioware should feel in awe that it has such dedicated fans. If we didn't care about the game, we wouldn't be on here calling for a massive change. We as fans put our trust in you, and that trust was mishandled. Do you think I want to read a review from somebody that reviews a couple of games a week, or would I rather listen to someone like a forum member, that has lived and breathed ME, ME2, & ME3. I have 15 playthroughs. To heck with your reviews. You can pat yourself on the back when you deliver something that 92% of players are calling for, from the last poll of 60,000 people that I read.

That's an outstandingly accurate review. The truth is that this game is well below par for the series long before you get to the ending.

1) That's not a review, it's an open letter, and a very subjective one at that. "Wrex is teh bestes character evar zomg" is not an objective viewpoint or criticism. I love Wrex as much as the next guy, but come on.

2) I don't understand the complaint about the doom and gloom before the ending. The Lord of the Rings, almost in its entirety, does the same thing. Everything is terrible, everything is hopeless, the world was so much better before this all started. And it just gets worse, right up to the ending. And that works. The difference is in how it's resolved, and that's where ME3 fails.

The vast majority of fans think this is an amazing 10/10 game. Even the haters are just pissed about the ending - the majority agree that the rest of the game is awesome.

The haters are a very vocal minority. The majority of fans don't even use these forums.

Honestly, if I had to rate the game out of 10, I wouldn't know what to do. Up until the ending, it's a 9.5 or a 9, depending how much I'd take off for the technical issues and the fact that Legion didn't make sense. Then along comes Casper, and I don't know how to factor that into my rating. At the end of the day, it is the last 10 minutes of an otherwise fantastic 35-hour game. But it's the ending, so... it's really important. What to do?

'The Vast Majority' is this based on your anecdotal information or do you have any actual evidence, or do you know the gamer personally? Assuming that the millions of consumers who bought a copy are overjoyed with the ending not only is a logical fallacy, but is basically an incorrect sylogistical assumption.

Did you know that every western president/prime minister/head of government in the past 20 years has been voted in on a minority vote? That should be enough to explain to you that the vast majority of Joe Public does not make his feelings known anywhere outside his or her family.

Its simple every poll that has been put ANYWHERE shows a startingly simliar pattern its less than 10% who like or dont care about then ending, 90% who think the endings are bad/shoddy or dreadful

Spend 10 mins do a search on amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.fr,amazon.au....it is the biggest retailer online on the planet and has sold more copies than anyone including origin and the reviews are rarely higher than 1 star on average 2 stars..

We all love the game son, its just that the REAL majority of us see how shoddy the ending is..if indeed it is the ending, if your going to argue against something come armed with some facts not just a 'feeling'

Are you trolling? I never said the vast majority love the ending. I just said the vast majority of people love the game (and you said somethign similar). The last 10 seconds of a game aren't enough to significantly affect a game's score.

The people who think the entire game is ruined because they don't like the last 10 seconds are trolling.

Get a clue.

I'm sick of being told by fanboys what it is that I do and don't have a problem with when it comes to ME3.

The endings stink on ice.

There's also the cartoonish fate of TIM and Udina, the goofy inclusion of circus rolling in combat, the meaninglessness of choices from previous games, Origin, multiplayer cram-on, etc, etc, etc, etc.

PKNM...Its quite a bit more than 10 seconds, its about the last 12 minutes or so that fails.

We agree everyone loves the game, but almost everyone hates the ending. My Proof check any online poll its always 9-1 in favour of a new ending.

If you need more proof check the worlds largest online retailer for reviews..ME 3 does not get more than 2 stars out of 5, keep in mind Amazon sold more than Origin.

Now if you happen to like the ending, personally I cant understand why then thats fine. The changes wanted will probably not affect you.

What you do have to be careful on a personal level is if you are going to debate something be SURE of the langauge you use.

My original post stands. Have a Nice Afternoon

I demand a confirmation with actual evidence that EA didn't buy off any of them.

Thank you in advance.

Can someone at Bioware put some actual reviews on this list? Maybe from those who have actually played the entire 3 games? Funny how Amazon review isn't on the list. I guess not enough "expert" opinions on there.

I think there’s one thing to consider with professional game reviewers, and that is exclusivity. A couple of months ago, Game Informer had a great Mass Effect cover story filled with exclusives. They also then had a month of coverage on their website that you couldn’t find anywhere else. Now, with the release of Mass Effect 3 they gave it a perfect score. Game Informer is my favorite gaming publication, but I still find it a little strange. If EA is willing to do so many different things with ME3 to make more money, who knows what they might do behind the scenes. I admit that ME3 was a great game, but it had a decent amount of problems. The only negative comments Game Informer had for the game was that they wish there was a lock-on or cancel option when using the omni-blade and the disk switching on Xbox 360 (both things I agree on). Everything else was generic praise, including the worst part of the review, where they mention the ending: “I was left speechless at the end of this story. I won’t divulge the feeling that washed over me during the final sequence, but I absolutely love how it concludes. Most of the major plot points and character side stories – even those harking back to Mass Effect 1 – resolve…. I was sad to leave them behind, but satisfied since I had no unanswered questions.” It makes me wonder if we played the same game. :o

^this.
It only takes away from your credebility if you only show the good reviews and act like the bad ones don't exist.
