Ha ha I just tried to watch the IGN review on YouTube and got an ME3 commercial before it

There's a German review out there from a German game site called GamingXP. The review is very thorough, although a bit short. Final score is 95%.

 Don't know if this has been posted yet (couldn't see it), but Edge gives ME3 an 8. Which is one better than ME1, and one worse than ME2 (if such comparisons are relevant).

People if you think this game is so great why don't go over to Metacritics and support it! its getting hammered there. I don't have a say in the matter, i have to wait till March 9 for my CE

Agreed, but with reservation. Scores of 10 just for the sake of defending the game are totally understandable, but in the end no more accurate or helpful than all the '1' scores floating about trashing the game.  An honest score (whether high, low or somewhere in between) is vastly preferable, and may help the metacritic user reviews for this game gain some sort of credibility  ... that's my opinion, anyway

I haven't got it yet but it's nice to see so many positive Official reviews...the problem I noticed on metacritic http://www.metacriti...0/mass-effect-3 was the 4.7/10 User review....
All I know is that IF ME3 is even a little bit better than ME2 then I must get it ASAP
I already like the idea of Co-Op which doesn't really mess up your single player experience:)

I'll clearify the bad meta critic user reviews: it's just a boycott against EA and their DLC (pity because bioware is the victime of this boycott )

Well personally i got ALL the DLC for ME2 and liked most of it, therefore I will most probably get them also for ME3.
In the end U get nothing for nothing and there is no such thing as FREE, in anycase it's a way of supporting the DEVS, we don't have to get the DLC BUT if it's worth it, I don't see why not:)
Futhermore, when I had problems with my ME2 DLCs, EA helped me to sort them out and get them working, so this also gave me peace of mind knowing I got value for money (an actual service).

Well, DA 2 never recovered from its negative user score, and after such a long time you'd think the balanced view would be out there. Maybe it really didn't satisfy its customers?

Just like a movie can be a success with critics but nobody could be bothered to watch it, why not a game? I'm a little concerned about the endings, so far I've managed to avoid terrible spoilers, and I'll be getting the game in a couple of days (hopefully). But like I really looked forward to DA 2(which let me down in so many ways), I can't say I'm filled with every confidence that ME 3 will not pull a DA 2 on me.

The children on metacritic are not there to objectivley criticize the game, they are trolling plain and simple, because one dude put a video on youtube. Just read them, they are absurd and filled with useless hate. If you are trusting the "user reviews" on metacritic I have to seriously doubt your intelligence as a human being. Those numbers mean absolutley nothing. Not a damn thing.  I can understand someone not liking the game for this reason or that reason or whatever it may be, but regardless these "reviews" consist of nothing but man children getting their panties in a bunch because of day 1 dlc and DA2( which is again... all opinion) and using disgusting excuses like "homos in ME3? This game sucks!!) Its stupid and shouldnt be tolerated. However this IS the internet so any kind of accountability gets thrown out the window. They sit here on the other side of their keyboards throwing vile insults and threats to other human beings...but if you take away that keyboard, theyll run away with their tails between their legs. They are all the same. 

Its also good to note that it seems that for now the positive reviews outweigh the bad ones. Granted, both sides likely have trolls, but thats exactly my point. Metacritic "user reviews" are a joke.

Ranting aside, I do have to say, that this game has fullfilled everything I hoped it would be.  Congrats Bioware!! You guys deserve all the excellent praise and more!!!  :D:D

The scoring system is pointless, 10/10 means nothing to me, there's no way anyone who puts proper effort and detail into their reviews would give any game a perfect score, for every game has it's flaws.

Still, all things aside, I would give ME3 an 8/10, however, due to that detail that angered over 70% of the fan basis (And No, I don't mean the DLC), you get lowered to a 6/10.

Regardless it seems overall that ME3 was well received, Well done Bioware.

Neither a 5/5 or a 10/10 rule out flaws. It's the overall experience that counts.

I find MOST of these so called reviews lacking. As if there was embargo on the things that arenot so 'stellar' in the game. This or the problems are happily overlooked.

Fine, in this light the game looks perfect. Just dont come raging if players retaliate after being tricked by said flawless masterpieces of 'journalism'. People, gamers in particular, dont like being misinformed, or staight up lied to.

I cant stop to wonder if ME wil really gain NEW fans just because its a PERFECT TIME TO JUMP ABOARD... lol. This is still funny
No, actually its tragicomic... sorry.

All in all the game is mighty fine, I'm enjoying it atm (some 10-15h into the game), but its said to be what it isn't. Why BW and EA have to resort to that kind of 'marketing' is beyond me.

press was never accurate about gametesting, and it becomes even more obvious with perfect scores.
I dont bash on ME3 with "0%" ike a lot of people, I love it, but I still see the flaws.
Examples: animations are worser then bad (dont justify a perfect score), my infiltrator shep who dont even have an AR equiped (and dont have vindicator unlocked) uses a vindicator in a lot of cutscenes... details like this determine a perfect score or not.
Such press "100%" are as unbelievable as metacritics userreviews of 0.
