Hi,

I have a little problem. I had purchase two copies of Mass Effect 3 (one for myself, the other for my brother). One of the reason for buying two is so that we can play online together (via co-op).

However, whever one of us is searching for a game, it will kick the other out of the current active game room.

(e,.g: I was playing on my PC on a co-op. When my brother tries to search for his own game, it will kick me out of my game and disconnect me. When both of try playing in the same game room, we will get kicked too. :\\)

There is no problem when only one of us is playing the co-op only.

Both of us have different Origin and EA Accounts.

Would appreciate some assistance and help on it. Thanks.

Peter

I've had issues with a similar situation, but not quite as bad.

I was trying to play the demo with my wife (on my network) and my dad and brother (on the same network, separate from us). If I hosted, my dad could join but not my brother. If my wife hosted, my brother could join but not my dad. If my dad or brother hosted, my wife could join but I couldn't. Resetting the routers involved solved the problem, temporarily. It seems to just pop up randomly.

Even with my dad out of the picture (still there on the network, but not trying to play) my brother is sometimes unable to connect to my games, even though everyone else in the world can.

I see, what a relief (at least its not only I having that problem)...

I wonder if BioWare will consider fixing this probem though.

I am not pushing for anything as i got no right to, but a fix would be nice :D

Although I've had issues playing with my dad+brother (together on a different network), I've actually had no problems playing with my wife (on the same network as me). If it helps you any, here are a couple of the details of my router setup:
- Static internal IP addresses for each of us. Something like 192.168.1.50 and 192.168.1.51
- UPnP enabled
- UDP ports 3659 and 6000 forwarded to my PC (nothing forwarded to hers)

Maybe you'll have some luck if you try to match my settings.. worth a try

My wife and I bought two copies of the game for that very reason, to play the cooperative parts together. I'll be very unhappy if we can't do that this week.

Best of luck finding or getting a fix.

I believe this is an EA game problem.... in the past, when i play Battlefield 3 or Bad Company 2,i would have connection problems when both PCs are playing the game.... I do hope a patch goes thru :(

I have the same issue trying to play with my wife. Additionally, we are able to join games hosted by the other but once we're in the game the non-hosting player experiences lag spikes 10-20 seconds long of complete loss of connectivity. (Enemies just keep running on the same vector into the sky or into a wall, we're able to shoot but it does not damage, eventually everything catches up but the wave is either over or our character is dead) I've forwarded the ports to my PC and tried with myself hosting or her hosting. Our firewall has given full access to the origin, ME3, Origin Client Service and EA Server Host.

Please fix this.
