No - it means you need to collect as many war assets as possible in SP, but you can achieve perfect ending without MP.
That is awesome to hear. Thank you so very much!
I haven't bought Mass Effect 3 yet... I may very well do so once I've finished considering the whole "day 1 DLC" content as it's really making me have to consider if I wish to buy something that supports this idea frankly.
A Shame as I really liked the 1st one and the second one came with some of the DLC I wanted included.
Anyway... getting off my query.
Can I clarify then. You can get the "best" endings (or rather you can access all ME3 endings) by playing the single player and doing sidequests, yes?
Are the sidequests interesting "story" ones or the subsitutes for "scan and mine" mouse scrolling (which was rather dull in ME2)? Quite a few people have commented that they're basic go here, scan this, go back to citadel missions which sound VERY dull. Is this true?
I just want to know why MP makes getting the"better" endings easier compared to single players doing fetch quests. It just seems a very odd decision to make.
Before anyone insults me, these are geniuinely curious questions from someone wanting to buy 3 to see ME through to the end. Also, I have played MP games of various types and am just not a fan of this genre and so normally steer clear, so please no "try it first before moaning" comments please.
