So I'd post this in technical support, but this is the only board I apparently meet the requirements to post in.

After a seemingly random number of saves I can no longer Save or Load. Going into either option brings up absolutely nothing selectable.  The only button that does anything is the Circle button, which exits back as usual.  I can still use the Select button to auto save during the game and I can play the game as normal.  If I return to the Main Menu I can use the Resume option but Load still brings up nothing, both from the Main Menu and from the resumed game.  I CAN save again if I completely exit out to the XMB and then boot the game back up again.  I do not need to restart the entire console.

At first this happened after my 4th save and then my 8th, so I thought the magic number was 4, but then it happened again after my 9th save as well.

For the record, I'm playing on an 80GB Backwards Compatible PS3 with a ME2 import of level 30 default Shepard, a Soldier.

Is anyone else having this problem and/or does anyone already happen to know exactly how to stop it?

It again happened after the 11th save.

I don't like to bump, but this was buried after only 6 minutes, and now it's been 6 hours with very little views and 0 replies.

Thank you for that.  I made the mistake of thinking registration was automatically detected by the online pass being entered.  I'm not really sure why I thought that, but that's what I thought.  One button press later and now I can post here.

Also, thank you for moving it to the correct board.

I would just like to update that I played through the entire game and this problem never went away, not even after the new patch.

I even deleted the patches/DLC and reinstalled them in a different order than I originally installed them in and this problem still persisted.  Also, one time a reboot did not allow me to save upon resuming the game, so it's now as little as 0.

To add more to the description of the problem, once I had 5 different save slots made and a scroll bar appeared when this problem occured I could see the scroll bar but I was not able to scroll up or down.  Circle was still the only button that functioned.

Kind of curious if ME3 was ever tested on the old fat PS3 systems or not. I own a new slim and hard crash maybe once every 20 hours, and have the horrible frame rate issues due to having to read from the blue ray too much.
