So, I preordered ME3 CE through best buy's website and had it selected for an in-store pickup. I picked up my copy today but I noticed I dont have a preorder code on my receipt or anything that can give me this preorder bonus.

I know, it's just one gun and it will not make a big difference in game, but I'd like to know if anyone is having a similar problem and if they had it resolved somehow.

They usually email that kind of stuff out, but I am having the same problem. There has been no communication of that sort from them. I hope someone will have an answer.

They email preorder codes if you made the order on Bestbuy.com. But I don't have mine yet either.

i am having the EXACT same problem. i did store pickup plus, in which case bestbuy.com says the code will print ON RECEIPT at time of pickup. it wasnt on there. so i called back and they basically told me that no such code exists and that i'd have to call 1-888-BEST-BUY. the person i spoke with there said that they no longer print codes on the receipt, even though i told her that BESTBUY.COM says that it should. still no email. i doubt that i'll get one. they should call it "store pickup plus frustration."

I also ordered the CE (PS3) however I preordered and picked up in-store. I checked the receipt and inside the CE and no argus rifle code in sight. I'm sure that it'll be emailed though, so I'm not too worried... yet.

Same problem, no email yet.
Sad to say I'm some what relieved, because our Best Buy almost always screws something up (I had to point out on their own printout I ordered CE when they handed me the regular edition...), and thought it was just a local issue. If they fix it, great, if they don't, ah well. Looking forward to the story and battle more than a weapon. Gift cards be damned, I'm sticking with Amazon next time.

Yeah, I had to do the same thing too, only that they confused my CE for a prima guide that look as thick as the bible.

edit: I still haven't received an email.

I pre ordered online and they never sent me a code. Then again I ordered the CE so I'm not sure if it's included in that...

I ordered from inside a store and have no code. I've spent a collective 40 minutes on the phone with customer service and all I got was constant transfers and hangups.

As a Best Buy employee, this annoys the everloving **** out of me. I can only imagine how worse it is for people who don't work for the company. I'm never pre-ordering from Best Buy ever again. Employee discount be damned, I'm not going through with this again. Ever.

Thats what I want to know too I thought it would be available for all editions of ME3 as long as you preordered from any store.

Just got off the phone with BB.com CS and they claim the code will be sent via e-mail within 48 hours of picking up the order in-store.

I'll believe it when I see it. O_o

This directly conflicts with the information which was on the pre-order website. (figures I knew they would screw somthing up)

What do you suppose the odds are of receiving the $10 gift-card they promised for reward zone gamers ?

same problem here.... only pre-ordered from best buy cause they were the only retailer I could find that still had some CE's left by the time I decided to pre-order.

Really hope I actually get the code

Well I just got off the phone with EA support due to an activation issue & not only did they resolve it quickly they gave me the code for the Argus DLC immediately when I mentioned the BB situation.

Pretty much.  They sent a "thank you for picking up your item" e-mail within minutes... but for some reason it takes two days to send the code?  Pretty poor service.

The actual website says 24 hours within receiving the game.

In any case, Best Buy was the only one that had the PC Collectors not sold out yet, so I like them.

I prefer Amazon of course.

I had the same issue. I just contacted EA Customer Support through their online chat program, and nicely explained the Best Buy issue, provided my basic information, and they were able to generate a code for me. Took about 10 mins to get a service rep, and about 10 minutes for them to enter the info and generate a code. Do NOT wait for Best Buy to fix this, contact EA's Live Chat support.

Just be calm and nice and explain the BB issue.

*sigh* EA customer support is telling me to contact Best Buy.

ETA: Yep, no code. They want me to go through BB. So I just joined the BB community forums and sent a PM as per their community instructions, with the game, my order #, and e-mail. We'll see what happens. The EA guy was very nice, but pretty much not willing to produce a code. I told him okay, I'll try with BB, but if I still don't have a code in 24 hours, I'll be back to chatting with EA. He said that sounded fair. :)
