I have the same problem. I hope they send the email because I do not want to go through the effort of wrestling with Best Buy. When they mess up, they don't do it halfway, from my experience. I appreciate the Reward Points but not stuff like this...

It seems like the track record of people NOT receiving their pre-order bonus is unanimous. Can anyone report that they've received them at all?
I'd like to give BB the benefit of the doubt and expect to receive the code via email within 24 hours. Honestly it's kind of sloppy how they've handled this, the BB employees also seem pretty ignorant about how this all works.

well i remember with forza 4 ce for bestbuy to give me my preorder code they said wait 24hours also but then another person said that bestbuy needs to scan a code when you pick up your game. so i guess we shall wait till tomorrow then.
but also i never had problems with my local besbuys and if they run out of said product they would call up another one and hold the prodict for me.

This happened to me as well. It turns out that the Best buy I went to had no idea how the pre order bonus was supposed to be handled. One of the staff asked another member who said it is inside the game box which is ridiculous in hindsight. I had to return to the store and redo the transaction before a code was printed on the receipt.

Supposedly Best Buy is now looking into the problem, and suggest if you did not receive a promo code you should PM "Gaming-BBY" on their forums with your order number and the email you used for the order. Some have had success, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Yep. I did that yesterday, still nothing from them today. If I still haven't heard anything back from BB by tonight, I'll be contacting EA again.

This same issue occurred with a previous preorder and BB, I think Dragon Age 2. It took them about 5 days to send out the codes, but they came eventually.

Yep. Love it, at least until I get my Geth Pulse Rifle again. I got mine because I preordered from GameStop. The two times I didn't preorder a game from GameStop I ended up getting screwed over on launch day (1st time was Best Buy, they refused to sell me the game until Friday, said they couldn't break street date which was Friday according to them. 2nd time was direct from Atari, they canceled my preorder so I preordered again, then on launch day it hadn't even shipped, so i canceled it. TWO WEEKS LATER I recieved TWO copies from them... apparently it's impossible to cancel a preorder. Still two weeks after launch it shipped? Anyway, both times I canceled my preorders and bought the game from GameStop after all) so now I ONLY preorder from GameStop.

My friend preordered two copies from Amazon, a SE and a CE. They only sent him one code for preordering the SE. No code for the CE.
Not Best Buy, I know, but I figured I'd chime in. I'm guessing they don't send a code for every copy that you preordered, but rather one code per account.
