Yes, however there is no guarantee that your face will be the 'same'. The problem is that many of the CC options in ME1/2 aren't in ME3.
I actually generated my exact ME2 face code for my ME1-created Shep, using this tool. A simpler method that works with sliders, and not facecodes is here.
When my Shep's face didn't import properly into ME3, I directly inputted my ME2 facecode. The results were disappointing - I posted some pics a couple of pages back. And no amount tweaking was going to help.
Others have had better results, and it comes down to whether the CC options you used in creating your ME1/2 Shep are present and unchanged in ME3.

If you click on the link you can see that one shep imported over perfectly while the other did not. The male shep is completely wrong, while the female shep is fine.

By the way if anyone wants to use these for anything they can.

Is there a way of finding your me1 face code to manually put into me3 on xbox 360?
Yes, the link is actually in the OP, but I also created a blog post about it here:
http://social.biowar...764/blog/211646
WARNING: It takes some time and effort.
You can also just import your ME1 char into ME2 and then simply select another class. It will then generate the face code automatically.

Does anyone have any clue how long we're going to have to wait? :/
Nope. No word. All we got was, "We think it's broken because of this..." "Yep, it's definitely broken because of that.."
Frankly, I'm really believing they don't want to grow a pair and just admit that because of the overhaul we won't be getting our ME2 Shepard's back. But maybe I'm wrong and they'll put out a magical patch that'll fix it.

To be honest, Astralify, the second row of pictures there does not look bad at all! Maybe it's more proof that the Sheps look better when moving
I dunno, the eyes in the second row ME3 version look kinda unnatural and blank to me, compared with 1 & 2.

I'd say it has hints of his femshep, just like mine shows hints but still could be better. The transition between ME1 to ME2, for me and except that one guy who showed his dudeshep a few pages back, were pretty subtle between increased graphics and recognition.

I'm pretty sure that doesn't work. The facecode you'll get if you do that will be some ME2 default facecode, not your Shep's facecode.
Try it. Take the facecode generated by your method, and reinput it into ME2, and see what face you come up with - it won't be yours (unless you were actually using the default yourself).

After the whole fuss over Day 1 DLC, where Bioware affirmed that Mass Effect 3 would be a "full, complete game"... you'd think that Bioware would make the effort that their full, complete game would be stable. Because I did not receive a full game, I received a broken game where my Shepherd from the first two games does not exist, and I've been playing a broken game where every other mission doesn't load correctly or has a glitch.
I'm enjoying the game when I can (the Quarian/geth conflict especially) but I have completely lost faith in Bioware/EA based off how I perceive them treating their fans.

Well, that way I extracted my Shepards face and I didn't use the default face. Maybe YOU should try it then.

As our teams work hard to address the importing of face codes we would like to call out a fan made tool that may be able to help PC users in the short term:
Mass Effect Tools
And detailed instruction from a fan on how to use them here.
Chris, thank you for posting my little guide here. I've gotten a lot of grateful PMs from people that have used this method to recreate their Shepard's face. I'm just glad I could help.
Two things of note:
1) I created a blog post detailing this so as to provide something a little more central than a forum post in an old thread about the difference between the ME2 and ME3 charcater creators.
That can be found here: http://social.biowar...64/blog/211646/
2) I've gotten several PMs from people that were having trouble using Modio, so I updated my blog post as well as the original forum post with detailed steps and screen shots.

The Character Creator and Squad screens in ME3 are not very flattering. Personally, I think your Shepard looks GREAT in the actual game screen shot (and fairly close too).

Trust me it doesn't look better. The eyes and mouth are just different and they are the most important part of the face to be identical I think.
Here is a better example of the difference:

Maybe the squad screen isn't flattering in ME3 but then why is it that the squad screen in ME1 and ME2 are closer to par with each other than ME3? You can totally see there's a difference there and I'd wager even with the in game shots.
I understand for some it's enough, but for some of us, like myself and I'm guessing him, it's not enough.
For example here's mine:
ME1:

ME2:

ME3 in game:
