I've been messing with the creator, and it is going to take forever to recreate my femShep the way I want it (assuming I can). So, rather than waste hours and frustration, going with default femShep. Maybe I will come back to it on a second run through.

Surprising how disappointed I am at this ****up.

Same problem here, imported from ME1 to ME2 and now from ME2 to ME3. PC user.

The face I have doesn't nearly resemble the one I created in ME1 lol. Hope for a fix soon.

Also, the tool provided in the link are linking to pretty much nothing?! Can someone who knows provide a step by step guide and a link for the workaround? It would be greatly appreciated by everyone I'm sure!

My ME2 Shep errored as well (Xbox360) on import and gave me default Shep instead. So whatever, tried to recreate my Shep from memory...but what happened to the noses?! I swear I couldn't find the nose I used to use.

Ironically, if the default femShep had been available from ME1 on, I might have *started* with her.

I had the same issue they're missing the nose I used for my Shepard and also something weird is going on with the brow and eyes. It's a strange choice to make these changes when they knew a lot of people would be importing characters.

An update to the OP would be really nice. This issue is really detrimental to long time fans. But the lack of any form of update, even one that says "still chugging away, but no firm solution has been reached yet". Give us something more to go on

It took me a few hours but I finally managed to get a Shepard who looks pretty similar to what should have been imported. I had to use a bunch of pictures for reference, but... well I can at least imagine it if I'm not thinking too hard. It's better than the flabby albino I had earlier, at least.

I'm not going to "thank" you for what is a ridiculously sloppy bug and, not only that, but something that was pointed out a while ago and yet just now (conveniently on launch day) was an announcement made. Not to mention, you'd think this would be literally the first damn thing any play-testers would discover. I shudder to think about what other imported parts were messed up.

Yeah Bioware dropped the ball on this one.

I'm playing the game right now as my femshep from ME1 but of course she doesn't look like she did originally. It's not the end of the world to me, but the fact they let this happen...well I can't defend them on this issue.

Loving the game though, but c'mon Bioware.

An update would be greatly appreciated seeing that I'll be going home and firing up the PC for a few multiplayer runs. It'd be nice to see a patch soon...hopefully this weekend?

There's a couple of musts from an ME1 transfer over-such as the default FemShep. I never used her, but seeing her ME3 counterpart makes me cringe. Anyone with eyes can see that ME1/ME2 default FemShep is nothing like her ME3 look.

You know, the more I think about this... I don't think they'll be able to fix it.

Some of the pieces needed to remake my Shepard simply aren't there anymore. And I'm not talking about hair either. Her mouth, her eyes, the shape of her head... they're gone.

I agree, after a multitude of install issues I finally fire up the game and import my character and hit the import error...i thought to myself, no biggie, I'll just recreat my femshep. Boy was I wrong...my best attempt to emulate my femshep looks like a woman that just had plastic surgery gone wrong

My stock in Bioware has dropped drastically and I will seriously have to consider whether I would preorder any of their games in the future as they could not have not known about this issue...its pretty much a slap in the face to those of us that have been playing our characters since ME1...

Wow, this absolutely sucks.

I spent the last two months perfecting the playthrough I wanted to use for importing with my personal Shep, and now I find out the face doesn't even transfer over? (Which I a few good hours crafting together.)

I've purposely avoided reading through the forums for months so I wouldn't risk reading any spoilers. I wanted to have the perfect experience fighting the Reapers with the Shepard I started with since the beginning.

I hope this gets fixed asap. This is *my* Shep's epic story, I don't want to experience it for the first time with some default manshep I've never used nor have any desire to use.

To think all that time spent waiting only to wait longer. In any case i can only hope that after a bit more waiting we shall be blessed with our old looks and charms once again.
