And the lack of communication is even more annoying. I would rather know already whether it's something I will have to deal with so I can finally play the game.
Many of us share that very same sentiment, myself included, but it appears that Bioware just doesn't have anything to say yet, unfortunate as it is. Perhaps as a means of giving myself some hope, I'd put a lot of faith in the idea that today, being the start of a new work week, would warrant some sort of update on the matter, and that appears to be incredibly unlikely at this point.
I think everyone needs to see this as I believe it too be true... (it is quoted from someone earlier)

"*sigh* was hoping this would be sorted while I was away for the weekend. Funnily enough, I spoke to a friend who works at Bioware on my way out... I LOL at the notion of this being treated with the importance stated in the press... the bug is actually outsourced to EA for them to fix as it was considered "low priority" in terms of the game.
See that I can understand. It's not a gamebreaker, and I can see why they wouldn't treat it as a massive priority (even though on a personal note, it's killing me not being able to use my Shep) just don't smuggle me a suitcase nuke and tell me that slight uranium leak is all in hand..."
So if we are to believe that (and who would make that kind of stuff up) they don't really consider it a priority. This message made me decide to never buy another Bioware game (only renting from now on, if that). I think others should make a similar oath to themselves. They get away with this because we preorder and buy their products at the launch. The only way they will feel any sort of responsibility (because I guess personal integrity is just not profitable these days) is to make them feel it in their pockets.
