I had really hoped some sign of a patch would be out by now, or at least some eta. I tried to recreate my Shepard (Xbox) just recently and found myself barred by a lot of options that had changed in the face creator for ME3. Bioware reps, some update would be very much appreciated!

Okay, so i am trying to get this face code working. The face code I got had dashes next to the number. However, I notice whenever I try to put the face code in there are no options to input a dash.

Any help with inputting the face code into ME3 would be appreciated.

You all know the mission, and what is at stake.... I have also heard murmurs of discontent. I share your concerns.

Input it without dashes. It's not even case sensitive.

I just love how BW have been acting all surprised about this issue. Do they really think people are that stupid?

What kind of update would make you happy?  "Hey everyone, we're still working on this."  Because that would be fairly redundant; why wouldn't they still be working on this?  We already know they are.

They haven't yet said that they're working on this.  Or looking into it, or one word about it at all.  So that's the kind of update that would make me happy.

You're just not paying attention if you think that. Now, maybe they're not keeping you as up to date as you'd like, but they've most certainly said all those things.

Yep, the face import and the "not enough war assets in SP despite everything they said" are really getting to me.

The face import because it took them days to acknowledge the problem after the release of the game while it was already pointed out as a possible problem by the community as soon as the demo was released. It's also something that you won't see mentioned in any "professional" review. (my guess is either they were told that it would be corrected or worse the build they had to test it didn't include the import feature).

I don't understand the delayed action as it only make them look like incompetents and I'm guessing nobody at Bioware wants that.

The War Asset because they have yet to address it while it directly contradicts what Casey Hudson said in interviews and the still stickied "no reply" post by Jarret Lee on this very forum. It's also something you won't see mentioned in any "professional" review either. The more they stay silent about it the more it make them look misleading.

Should I be Bioware right now I'd rather pass as incompetent by blaming it on a QA blunder rather than misleading, but it's their show to roll.

I really don't get their PR and damage control these days (note that a daily update on the patch would just look stupid, so I'm definetly not expecting that from them). These two problems are slowly consuming all the good images and trust I had in Bioware and I've yet to play the game. Woe to them if I don't like the ending .

(if they ever patch those things <_<, I hope it won't take as long as the auto attack in DA2)

Less eyemakeup on ME3 Shep, of course.

I hope this helps!

Have a look through this thread. Others have posted links. BioWare employees' Twitter accounts, other forums posts, etc. They've said they know about it and are looking into it. They've not said much past that, but they have said it. I'm not spending my own time finding the links for you.

Indeed. Too bad the old hair no longer exists, the new one is a bit too even.
Ah, but she looks good nonetheless. Good work.

The only issues they've said they're looking into are faces originally created in ME1 or imported from ME2 NG+.  Neither of those applies to me, and don't apply to a lot of other people who have posted here.

The only other things I've heard are, someone said they got a customer service email that "some facial features are no longer supported" (but no indication that it was being looked into further). Someone said they got an "I'll pass this along" response on facebook.

So, no.  They haven't said they're looking into the same face codes creating drastically different faces in 2 vs. 3.

If you don't have links to the contrary...then you don't.

I romanced liara in me1 and in the shadow broker dlc. When I import my character, (with the face bug of course) it says I romanced liara in me1 and didn't romance anyone in me2. Is that a problem? Should it say that I romanced liara in me2 or say something about the shadow broker dlc?

For the record I am not starting the campaign before this stupid bug is fixed but I want to know if I have other problems as well. Thanks.

No that's right. The Shadow Broker doesn't count as a "re-romancing." The ME2 no romance means you didn't romance anyone on the Normandy

While it is a statement on the endings, it doesn't go into any specifics. Should be totally safe to read for anyone.

I was expecting the old hairstyles to be still in the game hidden but only available for NPC and character imports. Seems odd that they would leave it out the CC screen. I haven't been paying attention since page 100 so can you clarify how you did this?

Thanks for that.

Edit: Skimmed it.  Interesting that he says it's not the last you'll hear of Shepard. I always wondered why they were so insistent to end the story arc for Shepard with ME3.  Anybody can tell you fans don't want it to end, unless there's a proper resolution.  Much like Solid Snake and the Metal Gear Solid series.

Hopefully he'll freaking listen to us about fixing this headmorph issue.
