The topic is about the PR from Bioware and EA and how they are reacting on the problems. Also former PR ppl are responding.
For thoose that dont play yet and are still waiting until Bioware does anything... according this topic it will take weeks (i hope not) Also Amazon has started to refund the ppl who bought ME3 from them!
Its a very informative topic. The openings post is long but you have to read it.. (No spoilers)

Any responce from bioware yet?
They have to deal with all the bad publicity first before they make or fix their games to become quality.

There is no amount of waiting that would heal the wound created by this awful face...

Hark! I have traveled back in time 6 years to tell you all that Bioware never fixed this bug. Mass Effect 4 became a sci-fi FPS and Mass Effect 5 was a free-to-play FPS on the iPad 7.
You forgot the part where it turns out the Reapers are controlled by GIANT ENEMY CRABS

Now I'm not saying you're going to get perfect results, but you don't use this method and just sit there with what it gives you. Give him his facial hair back manually. Change his eyebrow color back manually. All this fix does is, honestly, the face shape sliders and such that you're never going to remember how to get right to a T.

People have said the CC screen isn't very flattering and I agree. In game, she looks a lot better, but still not MY Shepard:

It's key features that have changed in between the games, like the eyes. My Shepard's eyes were quite distinctive.
What a screw up.

Your help is very welcome on the problem, and Modio is so far the only way of getting your Shepard's ME1 face back, but I want to wait for Bioware to patch it or at least admit the bug is unfixable, officially, instead of using an online tool that isn't perfect and breaches the Xbox LIVE terms and conditions.

Edit: Thought I'd share with you my experience with the CC. I was reasonably satisfied with the Shepard I managed to make (using the YAML method then tweaking the code in the ME2 editor until the result was identical to my ME1 import, importing this into ME3 and tweaking the hair and eye colour which didn't match up with the presets in the previous game). I did notice that even though the character model used in conversations and cinematics was close the in-game model looked nothing like my old Shepard.

This is compared to the acceptably similar face I see in close-ups

Notice how the eye colour doesn't quite match up (my fault, my brain when consulted as to my Shepard's eye colour responded with "dark" so I ended up with blue instead of green eyes.

Umm, it doesn't breach any terms or conditions. You're taking a save file off of your 360 and that's where your interaction with the 360's storage ends. Microsoft even creates means with which to do this (my flash drive is Xbox 360 branded). Nothing is going from the PC back to the 360 afterwards, file-wise. There is no breach of anything and even BioWare suggests this method while they work on a fix. You use the file on your PC to get a face code which you then use in ME3 to generate a face. This code is written, not in file form.
Waiting is fine, of course. I did not want to, but I'm not everyone. Additionally, I was just letting this other poster know that four or five sliders will generally be off with this method. They usually involve hair, eyebrow color, makeup, eye color, facial hair, that sort of thing. You just input those manually.

This, pretty much. If anything, the Gibbed method is a breach of the T&Cs as you'd be modding a file. Modio is just extracting so you can get the code using METools. As KunamiMata says, you're not actually modding anything.
It is a little hit and miss depending on the assets used but the facial structure tends to stay intact in a lot of cases, and you'll have to manually find equivalent assets and colours. You won't know until you try it. In all honesty, it's a half-hour job to do but could save you hours of frustration with parameters.

I did use sliders afterwards, I got the beard back, the hair color was a bit darker than ME1&2 - but close I guess. The mouth I had was not available, and lips weren't able to be shrunken any more than shown in the picture.
The closest eyebrows were #1. But I can't manage to get the facial shape...I just can't bring myself to play...

They really should have given an option to run through a quick test cutcene to see how your Shepard looks like in the actual game environment. All to often does a character created look vastly different in game.

If you look at the comparison shots in the link, you'll see that Face Effect version (2 on the right) have small lips and a mouth that seems to protrude more. In some scenes, Shepard looks like she has a lazy eye. The eyes are overall not improved much.
Anyone familar with the Face Effect technique knows it involves basically copying in ME2 values for variables into the ME3 save. So, in theory this would create a one to one version, exact same features. In practice it's still off, so just goes to show how different the CC for ME3 is. Still, a good attempt by Ihnoc.

Wow thanks for that Emphyr. I just skimmed the first posting with all the quotes. I got two questions. First, has anyone told that Jessica Merizan about our headmorph issue?
Second, would you please restate what some people have said to get a refund from amazon? I don't want to delve futher in that thread because there are spoilers
Thanks.

It has even been argued that a savegame constitutes an original work by the user, to do with as he pleases, and the game-company has no more rights to it then Microsoft has to the documents you write with Office.
Not sure if this has ever been tested in court, though, and obviously the legal situation will be diffeerent from country to country.

Plus, it looks like their review score is hurting- It's 2 stars across the board for all versions of the game.
Will Bioware notice? Probably not, considering they will be too busy bathing in hot tubs full of Benjamins with Sports Illustrated models.
