 Lol, I put  exactly the same facecode as I had in ME2 and all I got is this ugly witch. It's not even about being unable to import faces, it's about face editor in ME3 being useless nonsense no capable of creating proper faces, especially for women. Check this out. Same code, same positions of all sliders in the editor. Compeltely different and ugly face.
They have to change the editor itself, not import. It's easy to recreate the face once it's possible.

Yeah, Skyrim ftw!! Got it day of release and I was lucky cause I never got any kind of heavy bug during the game, only some few one even really funny, finished it exploring it all, doing all and increasing top level all skills, great game!! xD I think first expansion pack of Skyrim will get released before the patch for Mass Effect 3 -.-

That's one of the best examples I've seen...and you're 100% right on all counts.  It's not just the import error message.  It's the inability to re-create the same faces even manually.  I re-created mine in ME2 in ten minutes, no problem.  The ME3 character creator just doesn't have what it takes.

I'd like to play Skyrim, but I completed all of it's quests long ago. I didn't play Fallout New Vegas though, but I don't really want to. I just finished playing ME and ME2 by my FemShep and wanna continue.

Man I'm so pissed, I just graduated boot camp. Came home on leave thinking nothing else but playing this game what you know a big "**** you" when I import my character. Bioware a multimillion or billion dollar company did not miss this mistake or error. NOT one employee out of how many like hundreds tried to import their own characters to ME3? really it's hard to believe. All I heard this was done on purpose for sole reason to force people to play multiplayer I'll try to play your Old Republic game...but still extremely pissed off.

Tried that last week. It works to a certain extent. Problem, however, is that the nose slider has significantly changed. Someone, I'm looking at you Bioware, needs to recreate the nose meshes cause none of them seem to match up well. Sure, from the front my shep looks pretty good but as soon as she turns her face I see this hidious beak where her old nose used to be.

The graphics engine in this game is superior with environments, but for faces it looks hideous. And why is everything so dark.

I've been playing Garry's Mod on Steam (think you gotta own half lfie though) to pass the time and it's amazing. It truely gives you the freedom create something unique (it doesn't just give you the illusion of it). Although ME and GM are not at all comparable.

By the time this gets fixed I will be enjoying the Witcher 2, Prototype 2, and Skyrim DLC. I'm actually getting sick of the ME3 multiplayer, which in turn is really not putting me in the mood to even care about the Story.  I'm not going to wait around forever, some other suckers might, but I could easily get $40 on craigslist for this game. Bioware is definately on my Do Not Buy New list.
    One other thing, people complaining about the ending, please do us a favor and shut the **** up. Those of us who can't even play the game should be the top priority for Bioware.<_<

I hope the doctors abscond and start a new studio so they have control over their business model because the EA suits are killing my favorite developer's brand:( The doctors worked so hard to make something special and it's a shame to see them go out like this!

Hahah.  I can kind of relate. I share a degree of that revulsion.  Instead of wanting to beat her up though I feel like I should buy her 5 McDonald's cheeseburgers.

Not necessarily. It all depends on what they say and how they say it.  If BioWare flat out said that they couldn't make our sheps look the same because it'd require a complete overhaul of the game people would be pissed but then at least it'd give these people options to either play the game with a ruined experience, get a refund, or refrain from buying the game.

Either way, that beats having no information.  Some people are just waiting and hoping things will be great.  Can you imagine how more pissed they'd be if the wait was for naught?

nope, im sorry, ive been on many games forums and whatever the devs say is wrong to someone...its just the way it is....they cant be blamed for not giving us something they havent said they will give us

If they had at least clearly acknowledged the problem I'm having (which is not the ME1/ME2 NG+ import error message), I wouldn't have canceled my swtor subscription.  I gave them a week...

That was really the only card I had to play, but I played it.  (At least until DLC comes out for me to not buy.)

Well yeah obviously someone's gonna disagree, but my point is that it's not a justification for saying nothing for precisely the reason I stated.

Might have to just say screw it and play single player soon enough. Maybe find a work around or do a from scratch. This is getting silly.

Unfortunately, us face import supporters are in the lose/lose battle. We don't get an update on how the face imports is coming along if at all. Then the rest of the community is hung up on the ending so we get drowned out. Maybe the ending is bad, but I wish my Shepards can see it.

Not getting patch reports or community support because they need to post "hey the ending is bad!" threads 1k times a day is just all around heartbreaking.
