I am just glad they found a fix

Hi,

Bw stated it is fixed but only it has to be tested.. I can understand the testing period. BUT! i do expect that the fix does solve all problems with Haircuts, eyebrows, skincolor, scarves and everything and i expect that i can import Nicole Shepard that started Me1 into ME2 into Me3.

If the fix doesnt do that... well... then..... we will have Doom 3 (were all hell breaks loose)

Please keep us Updated Bioware! But i have to tell you also that i am so deeply dissapointed in your customer service that ill never ever am gooing to spent 1 cent anymore on any of your pre-order products.

I payed 90 Euro.. and now i see the game is available for 35 euro! ( In Europe) ( and lots of used ones for 20 )

Yes, my e-mail support was abysmal...they gave me canned replies about using cloud(I never did, do not intend to)
Then they suddenly started calling me "ben" (not my name)
Such poor 'service'...
I gave up, luckily there is a patch coming!

I would guess that there probably won't be any chance of this happening. I think the patch will fix the problem by directly loading the headmorph that was stored in the ME2 save file. This can only be done during startup I would imagine, so there's probably no way for this to be fixed once your Shep is in game.

I'm also thinking once the patch is out, you might not be able to customise your ME2 Shep face in ME3, similar to how ME2 wouldn't let you customise an imported ME1 face. Of course I could be wrong, so I guess we'll see once the patch is out.

Honestly if it looks the same as ME 2 I wouldn't care if I can't give him a different haircut or whatnot as long as this is finally resolved. Stuff has already been spoiled for me and its annoying (especially by someone who just watched youtbe vids of the ending and spoiled stuff against my requests for him not to)

Let it be known that at 3:17 AM on March 24 I started my 3rd seperate playthrough instead of completing the stories of Phil or Jack Shepard. I am glad a patch is on the way, dissapointed that the problem wasn't noticed earlier, and giving a stern look and a finger wag to Bioware. Shame on you for discriminating against us hardcore ME fans.

I must say that I am really disappointed how game developers these days rush their games out too early without even checking the bugs. Of course we all have waited ME3 but I've had the game for two weeks now and I don't even want to start playing without my characters face. It just wouldn't be right. Bethesda released Skyrim and the textures were all messed up in the Xbox version and the game was basically unplayable for weeks until they finally released the patch. That is just inexcusable. I expect more from game developers like these.

That's one of the only gaming review sites that even acknowledge this bug. I can't be bothered to sign up though.

Reminds me of the first thing I do every time I buy a new console game on launch day...

... download the patch.

Still, as long as its not like the 14gig Witcher 2 patch it had after launch, and luckily it was playable, unlike the PoC Dead Island. (Never ever gonna believe cool advertising again...)

Sounds like theres a lot more rigmarole now with appeazing Sony and MicroSoft before anything can go up.

I too am one of the victims who can't import their custom faced Shepard and I am not going to play ME3 till I can. However, I keep reading every where how people demand a different ending. The attention it gets and how everybody is talking about it, is already a big spoiler to me but I'm worried about something else.

I don't know if Bioware is actually going to change the ending because I don't read any news related to it but I do notice that Bioware is giving this concern a lot of attention. So I'm worried that maybe they have plans to change the ending and include that in the same patch we've been waiting for and that we'll never get to see the original ending if we keep waiting for this patch.

Can anyone confirm that this is not going to happen?

I think they will add a new ending, not delete the old one, That would be awesome cause you will have a way more to finish the game.

They've said that they were not changing the ending, just adding clarifications and closure. I would be surprised if we get more than a slideshow at the end explaining the fate of our squadmates and the long term results of the choices non adressed by the ending (and considering the ending that's a tall order).

I think the ending stuff would rather be DLC, but that's just speculation from me.
You could always watch the originals on youtube if you would want in the future, if they do change it.

And please think of the spoilers people. Most of the people here haven't even started playing.

Well, as far as I'm concerned they did fail, and they did fail hard. This problem should have never been there, and the communication about it was terrible. That aside, we haven't got a working import yet, so no need to thank anyone imo.

Urm, oh, and nothing against you personally, Scam_poo, I'm just a little bitter about this by now.

There will be no new endings.  They did promise DLC that will elaborate on the current endings and clarify a few things, but nothing more.

They already failed. They failed with ME3 and as a company. They were doomed to fail the moment they got bought out by EA.

Also I wouldn't get on my knees for Bioware just yet if I were you. They say they fixed the problem. But whether or not the fix actually works for all of us still remains to be seen.
