wait, so the next big patch will also be for consoles, correct? yeah the face import bug kind of annoys me, but I must say the Reave bug in multiplayer is ten times worse xD makes me hesitate to play as Drell Adept.

That would be VERY NICE and I support this. But they won't do it. Simply because they've got a lot of stuff to do making Dragon Age III, the next Mass Effect, and DLC for ME3. They don't give a damn about giving daily updates to some nerdy fanboys (including me LOL) for a single issue in a patch.

I know, but even if you say otherwise, you like this game so much to boycott it. They said the same for L4D2 when they released it like 6 months after the first, everybody raged. And still, the boycotters were the first ones in line on day 1. That's why EA and Bioware developed Brand Loyalty. EVEN if the ending DLC is not free (which I think is what will happen), people like you and me WILL buy it day 1. We know that's true.

The L4D2 boycott  (which I did not care for) was about releasing 2 a year after 1.  There was nothng wrong with the product.  This is different because of the flaws released are pretty severe.

That said I want to like this game, but refuse to play it until it gets patches and hopefully added ending content.

No. I'm not buying any more Mass Effect games. I'm not buying any books that aren't written by Drew Karpysyhn. I'm cancelling my standing order for Mass Effect comics, art books, and bloody model spaceships. I'm not buying any DLC. I'd rather have this game as an unfinished pile of garbage to remind me not to let these MORONS take advantage of my FAITH in them. If they won't provide the products for which I have PAID, then they don't deserve my money. 

They sold us the END OF A TRILOGY WHERE YOUR CHOICES MATTER. IF and WHEN I GET the end of the trilogy for which I have ALREADY PAID, and I get an APOLOGY for how much they have  me over, THEN and ONLY THEN will I reconsider whether or not they are DESERVING of MY MEAGRE INCOME.

I've imported my 3 femsheps into the the ME3 CC. All three looked like strangers. The one I played, I had to make a lot of tweaks to remind me of her. Now I just imported my dudeShep and he's looking exactly like he's supposed to ...

What is going on ? Just bad luck ??

Nah, it's just the way the CC is in ME3.  Apparently DudeSheps aren't as greatly affected as FemSheps.

Nah, it's just the way the CC is in ME3.  Apparently DudeSheps aren't as greatly affected as FemSheps.

I actually played the game for about 3 hours 2 weeks ago with a default Shepard because it suddenly occurred to me what if the rest of the game is messed up and yeah there are some shocking bugs like the conversation where Liara and Shepard don't look at each other because they are looking at Liara's little floaty globe thing from the Shadow Broker Ship (Can't remember it's name). And it shocked me that I wasn't drawn back to the game since!! ME1 & 2 I played religiously!! ME3 - I played 3 hours and felt so underwhelmed. I think quite a number of you who are already jaded by this face import are going to be even more upset when game time FINALLY comes round and you see how Bioware have pulled another Dragon Age 2 effort with Mass Effect 3 and made your choices in past games utterly pointless. So to all my brothers and sisters fighting the Face import good fight, I say to you, be ready for more disappointments!!

I cannot wait to see how Bioware & their Overlord masters EA are going to ruin Generals 2 when it is released. Oh how the mighty have fallen......................

They don't care about us. The people that bought Mass Effect aren't the people EA wants playing Mass Effect 3. We are legacy customers of a legacy product, and EA is trying to shed itself of us.

I'd do that except Multiplayer affects Single player, BUT not until you've reached a point in single player, or so I heard, so all that readiness goes to waste.

Anyone correct me if I am wrong because I'd settle for Multiplayer in the meantime as well.

I don't know if anyone played a bit with the character creator, but personally I discovered that my femShep wasn't imported just because her eye color was not directly available in ME2.
As I see it, when you import a face from ME1, ME2 keeps all of its features even if they are not directly available in the character creator.
This however leads to the bug where the game cannot create a facecode because such features do not have their alphanumeric value (which simply is the position of the slides in the character creator).

It is very well possible that these features are still present in ME3, but the game cannot extrapolate them because ME2 couldn't generate a facecode with their alphanumeric value.

I'm extremely curious on how they will be able to fix this without patching ME2 or using an external program that will simply read the face from our ME1 save and produce a ME3 facecode to paste in the character creator.
