This is all fine, but can we get an answer to the question as to whether the forthcoming fix also fixes the faces looking different or not? Considering this is not new information we're looking for, but simply clarification on information already given, I do not understand why it is such an immense problem to get a simple, straightforward answer to a simple, straightforward question.

2. Did you add the features necessary to the character creator, meaning that each slider now has more options?
3. Are imports now perfect, or does it import what parts of the face work, and then give default settings for those that don't?
I can't see why the information above can't be given if the patch has already gone to cert.

If you were me, you would also want to know the answer to this question, which Bioware has not yet provided:
Will
the fix change how my face imports if I'm currently not getting an
error message, but my Shep looks way different from ME2? Or will it only
change things for people who get an error message?
Examples in this thread: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/323/index/9739936/
In other words, when you say "people are working on it" - what is "it"?
I havn't read this entire thread, but it seems to me that what these people are asking is the important question right now. I understand bioware can't give us exact dates or any of that other stuff, but surely they could fill us in on exactly what the patch will do for this issue. That question seems like it should almost be it's own new focused thread, because it's so important and really demands an answer.
Mine won't import at all, so I'm going off the word of other people who are saying even successful imports have issues and often don't look right. I also tried to manually re-create my face, but struggled to achieve much success (and other people have said that some faces are bassically not createable in ME3). So will this patch end up not just letting me import, but giving me something that looks extremely similar to my previous shepard? Or will they fix the "import" only to give me a vauge likeness?
That's an important question because it's about a lot more than simply "satisfying my impatience." It actually affects what course of action I take. If I'm going to end up with a faithful version of my old face, I'll wait until the patch to play the game. I'll wait frustratedly and be upset, but I'll wait. But If I learn now that even a "successful" import will still only be a vauge likeness to my old face, then I'll be even more frustrated / angry, but at least I'll know I might as well just go ahead and play now, either by manually re-creating my old face as best I can, or by just starting over, and mentally ret-conning the idea that this is what my Shepeard always looked like.
The first option will leave me frustrated / angry. The second option will leave me more frustrated / angry. But neither situation will ****** me off as much as if I continue this long wait because I'm under the impression the issue will be completely resolved, and then it turns out I end up having to go with the same "vauge manual re-creation or start from scratch / ret-con" that I could have done a while ago.
