Personally I feel like this will be fixed by the next patch, whenever it gets out of certification at least. I want to play this game so bad! It's it rediculous that it came to this and this being a problem in the first place? Obviously and bw has not handled this as well as they could. I haven't lost hope for bw or me3 but if this patch does not make the same faces I looked at for about 60 hours total appear in me3 I will have to rethink my stance.
Just wait until you get to the end of the game...

That's the problem, they CAN'T talk straight with us even if they wanted to. Well if they did I'm sure legal repercussions would hit them harder then a charging Brute.
Lion said it himself, even if he knew more he wouln't be able to disclose it.
Perhaps. Even if they couldn't disclose they coudl very well say that. Saying nothing only leaves ground for people to assume and/or fear the worst. In my book that's not much of an excuse.

I've tried a few of the presets and they all seem different to me (like this one):

Points on the left represent the ME3 face, and on the right is the difference to the ME2 face (brighter dots == bigger difference).
I'm running an automatic mapping algorithm and the closer the used faces are the less chance of errors. Help if you can?

The fact he updated in a thread that was less than 5 hours old, and failed to update this one with nearly 7000 replies and over 120000 views is insulting. Particularly when every other thread mentioning the subject is usually:

Wow I can't believe he would reply in that random thread.
He can post where he likes, what p****es me off is that he has more info, knows this thread is prcatically melting the boards because people are upset and want info, and neglected to post that info here when nearly every other thread so much as touching the subject is locked, with the admin pointing people to this thread.

I'm curious as to what Microsoft's verification process actually involve? Some guy playing through the game reallllllllllly slowly?
Microsoft Certification is the process in which the publisher and Microsoft have meetings where they roll around in piles of money, laughing at posts begging for help, info, support, and accountability.

Now I know why I'm still waiting to get the "Driven" achievement. LOL If only BioWare could escape and begin again as an independent studio. #wishfulthinking

It is stupid that something this important and is effecting us all is posted in another tread.
My guess is that Chris avoids this topic he has created himself.
I am currently writing a letter to Bioware that i will post here but also if i am ready i will sent it signed? In person to someone highlevel at their office.
My English is not 100% so it will take me some time.
Basically it is about that i regret having pre-orderded ME3 and paid 80Eu = about 100$ for something that only sofar gave me 10 hours of dissapointment, blood sweat and tears and 3 hour phonecall to EA helpdesk ( which didnt help) Not only the face import also some other things. (DLC didnt activate) and more.
It took me 10 hours to have the game downloaded and running on win7 and the first thing i saw DLC cannot be activated and some hours later when that was solved and started i got the face import ..
Bioware should give me 1 reason why i should stay as there customer and why i ever should buy a CE Release from them again.
4 weeks past.. The price here dropped from 80 Euro to 40 !
The only thing i got from ME 3 was frustration, disapointment and anger sofar. ( and i wasted hours and hours of my time while i should be playing Me3) instead of gooing true all kind of technical settings to even get it running on win7 ( No problem on win XP).
If my letter is finished i will post it here also.
Oh what also bugs me that this is suppoosed to be the spoiler free section of the forum and yet spoilers are everywere! You see them in topics, in banners it even was in our local newspaper here! There is NO WAY to avoid spoilers ... I didnt want to know about the ending but now i know..(:
I wish i never bought ME3 ! 80 euro was a waiste of my money! I even dislike ME at this moment..( 1 2 and 3)
If i see the games (1 and 2 also ) which gave me hours and hours of reall great gameplay... at this moment i cant even open them anymore.
I just feel frustration about the games and EA/Bioware and their fine customer service espacially.
I am signing of now. ( have to sleep i had nightshift)
Take Care
regards from The Netherlands

OK, what's wrong with this picture? Here we are, in the official thread, asking questions that should be easy and straightforward to answer, and getting no real answers. Someone ignores this thread, opens up a new one about this issue here:
http://social.biowar.../index/10907935
And gets an answer, albeit the same answer that's already given in this thread, in about 30 minutes.

Anyone know of a FemShep facecode that produces the same face in ME2 and ME3? (or very close)

How do you interpret this data? Because if you're successful I'd so like to do that with my Shepard

Actually, he didn't. There have been 3 posts by Chris in this thread, and thats including an update of one. The original one when he started the thread, the one where he said that the issue has been rectified (note that this does NOT say anything about the patch being complete or going to cert.), and the last post really is the update of his original one to reflect his second post.
I personally couldn't be bothered either if you've just come to this thread and didn't want to trawl through 7000 posts worht of feedback, but i've been checking this thread since it started like many others and that literally is the extent of Chris' feedback here. A couple of other reps have posted, but only to basically say "We're still working on it" but when quizzed on the subject, didn't seem to know much about what is going on.

"I think the longevity will depend on a lot of things:
- how many hours a day you are playing
- how many friends you play with (when I play with other BW peeps I have a freaking blast)
- how fast you have gotten to gold and/or a point where you can beat it reliably
- how much you enjoy trying new kits/weapons/powers etc. I find myself trying a lot of different stuff.
There will be updates to MP - probably sooner than you think. I just can't get detailed about that yet."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think what we can take away from this is, Biowares attention has now shifted away from the SP & is now focused on the MP aspect of the game. Afterall that is where they are generating revenue now that the game has been reduced in price by almost 50% from many retailers in less than 3 weeks while other retailers are not selling the product period.
The lack of communication from Bioware is very upsetting. I currently have a game I cannot play as I cannot play the shepard I put 120 hours into from ME1 & ME2 due to the character creation restrictions in ME3. I spent hours trying to do so & its impossible.
I cannot play multiplayer as I am repeatedly disconnected, come across invincible enemies which prevent wave completion, & the store which is supposed to provide incentive & reward for your efforts instead steals your credits & tell you to contact support. In the event that you actually are able to make a purchase you will be rewarded with weapons you do not use, or multiple character cards.
