If you haven't already, go back to that other thread and tell him 'thanks', as there is at least some kind of information coming from him.  Even with the caveats he included, this is more information than we're getting from the person who opened this thread, or, indeed, anyone else in the official thread about this.

If MS just got the patch today, yes. If, as Chris has stated, the patch was submitted before today, then two weeks from that day, provided the patch doesn't fail cert.

Unfortunately, they refuse to tell us when the patch was submitted exactly, so it's hard to know, but my bet is mid-April.

Why does bioware refuse to answer any of our questions or explain/apologize why the game is broken for users of ME1 and ME2. I don't understand and its a complete and total disgrace for a company that relies so much on its fans, to spit in our faces and ignore us.

I'm still on the mapping phase trying to map each ME2 face vertex to one (or more) ME3 vertices.
Once that's done it should be trivial to adjust everyone's ME3 face to their original ME1/2 face.

Trouble is I have yet to find a facecode that minimizes the differences, and I need one for this to work.
The alternative is to go through all 2300 points by hand. Not something I look forward too. =P

Looking at www.masseffect2faces.com now, but it's so damn slow to load the pictures. And most don't have a ME2 comparison anyway... ah well, back to college work.

So what is it that I can do to help?  I'm not even sure how to read that mapping data in accordance to a face code that's already in the ME2 faces DB or where I generate one on a new ME2 game.

According to that post it wasn't sent to xbox/sony yet, so either tully is a liar or Chris is/was. Funny he didn't say What priority, from the sound of it I'm guessing low. Now I am Not writing this as an attack on either Chris or Tully, but pointing out the inconsistencies of their statements. I'm giving them a week and then returning my copy of Mass Effect 3 and buying a used copy later when this is actually fixed. Gamestop deserves my money more than bioware does. I got an N7 day one and I can't play..and apparently MP is FORCED upon us for a perfect ending, going directly against what was stated pre-release. Good going guys..you sure changed alot from ME 1 and KOTOR.

Oh wow, just got N7 Crusader II... so if you want a full set of upgraded N7 weapons in multiplayer, you have to successfully complete 50 weekend operation challenges?

I just watched all the EVE Online fanfest vids. CCP CARES about their customers, and about providing interesting innovative game experiences.

Tell me EA, how is the mutilated corpse of the Mass Effect franchise better value than EVE Online, and DUST 514? I would rather BUY A PS3 so I can play DUST than play your silly tacked on multiplayer.

Serious they brought that weapon numbering system from ME1?  I hated that about ME1, knowing I had x amount of weapons to go through before obtaining the very best in the series. wtf.

I still fail to understand why this critical (and shameful, because any QA process worth its salt was supposed to catch it prior to release) error which is preventing people from playing the game at all (read the forums, there's quite a few of those) because they do not want to ruin their enjoyment of it, could not be fixed with a hotfix. You know, the kind of patch that only fixes one issue, and therefore requires seventeen-point-two times less time for certification and testing.

Yes, I opted for the fan tool solution, but I'm on the PC, it's easier for me than for the Eck-Bocks players, and it's not a panacea, it does not have even 80% accuracy.
