Haha, One month after the game has been released and still not even a date on when the patch will be here. Keep up the good work :3

Nor an apology, statement or any real communication.  What a great company bioware is.

Its like buying Super Mario Bros. and finding out you cant jump.... :(

It's more like buying Super Mario Bros. and finding out you can play only with Luigi.

I believe this gaming community has gone mad, as you're incapable of enjoying one of the industries best releases due to small glitches & story issues.

ikr?  who needs a core feature of the series?  let's all just play default shep and even be happy that Bioware would grace us with its art. :bandit:

Seriously, this is sad... I mean, like someone said pages and pages ago,it's something that they certainly knew it was going to happen. And here we are, one month after the release... And nothing. I'm really sad.

I've been holding off on starting ME3 because of this...I'm probably gonna crack soon, I just want to play the game. It'll probably take me ages to recreate my Shepard!

I haven't played yet, either. My fear is that I'll get half way through the game and then the patch will abruptly be released or have a release date. We had to wait two years between ME2 and ME3 and we’re all alive. I can wait weeks or months if need be. I hope you're able to hold out as well.

Well, Im still holding out, havnt played single player yet despite picking up my collectors edition on midnight of release. Im a bit annoyed though that today while I was in at my local EB, i noticed the games now only $68, compared too the $110 at release. I also noticed they had about 7 regular pre-owned copies for sale and 4 collector editions. I guess people just dont want crappy rushed games.

Still, Im stuck with my copy as I dont believe in selling my games and I'll just continue too wait for this patch with the hopes it will correctly fix this issue. In the meantime I'll start on Silent Hill Downpour too tie me over while I wait.

Sorry Bioware, but I will never first day purchase or pre-order one of your games again in the future.

I'm sorry, I mean this in the nicest way, but you're both showing what's the problem with certain gamers today. Perfcectly accepting the game being broken and letting the company that took your money with no issue what so ever.

Yes it's a video game, it's not vital to real/actual life. That much is most certainly, I'd like to believe most people know this.

But from a customer to business aspect Bioware released a game with a glitch that in no way I would call "small"

If the glitch was "small" as you put it, guess what? This thread wouldn't be over 280 pages. 280 pages in less than a month, that's a huge volume of people expressing their displeasure.

So no, it isn't small.

I've played the game three times, I simply don't have the time to "wait for a fix" and I commend those that are sticking to that way of thinking. Because despite how good the game is until near the end IMO, they STILL shouldn't had released the game until this issue was fix.

They released it regardless and why some people want to let them off the hook, by telling those that PAID money to play something that doesn't work properly that "it's not a big deal/get over it."

No, I'm sorry, this is on people who made the game, not the ones that put their trust and money into them (us) so I'm glad people are expressing how pissed they are about this, they have all the RIGHT to be upset.

This is the distinction: Not holstering weapons or audio cutting out in conversation= relatively minor.
Not being able to import your custom protagonist, which was a smooth process in ME2, and advertised as a GIVEN when all of us pre-ordered/bought this title= EPIC fail...
See? simple...

Psst ! Entitled gamers, what would they know about being respectful, loyal consumers who have spent more than 200 dollars in a videogame franchise and spent hundreds of hours playing it ? BAH !!!

It may be just coincidence but Xbox Australia's latest newsletter went out today with the subject line "Witcher 2 - The game that will live up to your expectations and more".

Following ME3 I'd say expectations will be easily exceeded.

-When you play ME2...you'll realize it's far superior to ME3. They took so much out of ME3. I thought scanning planets was annoying. I long for that feature to come back compared to what you can do in ME3 with your scanner. How about enemy types. Really, there are 3 different types of enemies in ME3...how many were in ME2? A lot more than that. The list goes on I'm not naming everything. ME3 is still a great game, not what I expected, nowhere near the epicness of ME2 IMO.
That's all I got.

That's how I feel, too. ME 2 was much more EPIC. Your actions or lack thereof had consequences, what you did made a *real* difference. I was excited about ME3 because they wouldn't be bound by the laws of series, having all player reach the same starting point for the next part. I was excited to see the epicness of ME2 and then some. But rather than an evolution ME3 seems more like a boiled down version, from what I've seen (stopped playing with the imposter after Mars, I just couldn't take Liara and Fake!Shepard). Even animation feels worse (why change it at all?!), and I suspect that bad/different animation is also adding to my Fake!Shepard's feeling of wrongness.

A comparison of Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 isn't even worth discussing. Mass Effect 2 is far, far, far superior.

Yes, Kya is correct. There was WAY too much fixing what wasn't broken from ME2 to ME3...

It's not just about ME3, lately gamer rage has targeted most oft the major releases: Skyrim, Modern Warfare(check the metacritic user score, total insanity), Gears of War 3 & so on.

Regarding the Mass Effect character creation tools, in the original game it was nigh on impossible to create a good looking Shep. Almost all custom Shepards looked absolutely awful. To the poster who claimed I wasn't a fan of the first two games, try this: I've played ME1 so much in the last four years that my best playthrough was achieved with a custom Shep I made based on the ME2 creation tools, using the sliders & accurately adding up the numbers in relation to the face code.

I used this Shep to play through 1 & 2, & now I've imported him into 3 using the face code from ME2 (+ I tried the exact sliders, the result was identical). He looks different but just as good & he no longer has weird facial expressions (example: every chat scene with Yeoman Chambers in ME2 would be visually really weird, like he'd suddenly aged).

I can't complain about a glitch that prevents the import of characters who didn't look great to begin with + I find it difficult to imagine the angry superfans here have only ever played ME1 & 2 with the same Shep created four years ago. Of far more importance were the decisions I made in 1 & 2 carried though into ME3, in that respect it works fine.

lol you aren't getting your money back. Amazon did refunds for 30 days since so many people hated this game, but if you think your email address is going to help you you're sorely mistaken. There was plenty of warning in advance about how bad this game would be, but you people chose to buy it anyway. After Dragon Age 2 there's really no excuse for buyer's remorse if you choose to give your money to DLCWare/EA.

This is just horrendous. Once I realized this problem from my friend's copy, I postponed buying ME3 and went back to playing ME2. Completed ME2, went back and played ME1, and now playing ME2 yet again, and this nonsense is STILL not solved. Pathetic, Bioware. Carrying the same character through all three games was one of the coolest things with this series. With that gone, ME3 is useless.

If your ok with the import face glitch then you either:
1. Never played ME1
2 Never played ME2
3. Your not affected by it
4. Used default Shepards
5. You feel no emotional attachment to your Shepard what so ever.
6. You don't like ME enough to care about such features
7. You play it just to kill things and don't care about story at all
8. Your a Bioware fanboy who tells himself everything will be alright.
9. You don't like ME at all
10. You have no soul
11. You work at Bioware/EA

Well, that's you then. Have a nice day.

Edit:- The correlation between people trolling this thread, and falling into one of the categories above is astounding.
