Ok, i take the yawl code put in ME2 adjust facial paint and eyes color to look exactly, and now i use this code into ME3, now looks pretty the same with upgraded graphics i think.
ME1 - ME2 - ME3
I honestly think the ME1 and Me2 ones look better.

They look way better. Especially the ME2 one.

To be honest, it's tough to tell because the lighting in the ME3 CC is such crap.

It's close, but damn, the change from ME1 to ME2 is subtle, and then in ME3 she just looks like another person.
This is pretty much what I experienced.
Feels like the lips of your ME1 and ME2 character are different.

The premise of this game is for me to take what I have built on me1 to me2 to me3 not for me to go ahead and then turn a blind eye and use a default face or compromise or make a new one then whats the point of your costume shep they might as well not given use the chouse.WolfLeBlack wrote...
No, they don't.bigpapathegreat wrote...
At this point I wonder If bioware owes some kind of compensation to there costumers for this most important defect that has rendered the game unplayable to many off use because it truly is.
While this is a major blow to a lot of fans, myself included (though I think I may be ok as I remember tweaking my Shep in ME2 a little), it doesn't render the game unplayable in any way. You're still at perfect liberty to take the default face or make a new Shep to take into battle, but you choose not to and that's the important difference.

Probably by me, too, wasn't it? XD Officially, there's no ETA. Unofficially... meaning, me guessing... While I would LOVE if it were to come out.. as soon as possible, really.. I wouldn't be surprised at this point if it takes two weeks, at least. The issue sounds to be more complex than I originally thought, and, if you're on a console, all updates have to be certified by MS and/or Sony before they'll be pushed out for release. With that said, though I hate the thought of having to wait this long... I could see it taking until the end of the month, or even longer.

They definatly do. ME3 is obviously a rushed product, I think that with an EA budget there just is no other way to make games. DA2 was much the same in that regard.
The character models look bad, not just Shepard but also other characters. Even Anderson looked better in ME1 than in ME3.
Add this horrible import glitch and I see that Bioware isn't a company from which you can expect a quality game anymore.

Anyway this is what's happening to me, I have a Femshep I have played since ME1, imported to ME2 without any changes, imported it to ME3 last night, no error message, but her face turned out completely different...
Can anybody enlighten or remind me on what this problem is? Is is the same problem with people getting the error messages?

Of course taking your own Shep into the game is a major point, I'm certainly not arguing that. I was just correcting your original post a little, which stated that this issue has rendered the game unplayable and so Bioware owes compensationbigpapathegreat wrote...

Adding Multiplayer and Kinect integration must've taking away from correctly polishing the game too. I have Kinect and I don't give a crap about voice commandes. I WANT MY SHEPARD BACK. Either that or give me my money back.

I played the ME3 demo up until I saw Anderson, went WTF, and quit the demo

Bioware has known about this problem for a while now due to the Space Editions and product testing (lol), but I love how they didn't choose to make a statement or even acknowledge it until after the game had already shipped, they had everyone's money, and the products were opened and therefore no longer refundable. Typical Bioware shady, unethical business practices.
Don't forget to blame EA

There is such a thing as false representation or false advertising. The main concept of this game was continuity of character. There is no way this was missed by QA, no way. This was rushed out to gold with no fix in sight. I blame EA for actually rushing it out.

Aye, it is very surprising that such a thing was missed during testing. At the end of the day massive errors occur on a daily basis all around the world. It sucks, but hopefully it gets fixed up pretty quickly.
As for whether Kinect or multiplayer effected it, that's hard to call for me. Since multiplayer was developed by a separate team I'm not going to just blame everything on it, but it is quite possible that the extra testing time for it mean't that they missed the face import error, though I'd be surprised if that were the case. Same with Kinect. I think this is just an error, plain and simple.

ME

ME2

ME3

The closest I can get looks pretty good in-game without using any user made tools... But without her purple eyes she ain't my Shep.

I think they used different models for the CC. It's still the same in spirit, but everyone in the game looks a tidbit different. Can't find the word I'm looking for, but I know what it is.neonism wrote...

That said, when this issue is fixed, I wouldn't expect my Shepards to be a rehash of ME1-2 but fully integrated with what he/she should look like in ME3's universe.

For me I know what it gives me will look sorta like what I posted above also. My Shep isn't THAT far from the preset it shows me. But without her components that made her uniquely MY Shep, I just have a difficult time with it. And its something I myself am kind of surprised how much something like eye color matters to me. But then you think of a person you just meet and the eyes are what we instinctually look at. If one of my friends went and got different colored contacts it would make me notice but she'd still have her original eyes underneath and this is how I am treating my Shep.

What I'm afraid of is that some irreversible decision in technology used will make a fix impossible. As I said, I do not believe one bit that they missed this problem. That would be test case #1 for any quality assurance team. This means they've know about it for a while. That they chanced their core fanbase not noticing and accepting this crap tells me they have no solution. I hope I'm wrong.
There are a bunch of things that people have complained about and Bioware has come out and said "Sorry, that's the way it is." Holstering, gamepad support on PC, etc. With them saying they're working on it, I'm hopeful for a fix.
