I can imagine, but it's probably better than being at work when the office is at 1/3 staff...

Guys, they're probably following Mountain Standard Time. And we are only 8 hours into April 9th in this time zone.
And since Bioware / EA offices are in this zone ( I guess EA is probably in the Pacific Time Zone making it only 7 hours into April 9th ) the window for the PC Patch release is stil apporx 15-16 hours.
Play some MP until then.

EA works on 'derpy customer service time' or DCST. Sadly they messed up the release date, the patch is actually releasing April 10 2912

According to the Patch thread some people already have it, and get this: It doesn't even fix the import bug for all of them.
The first time I started up Origin I told it to check if there were any updates for ME3. It did download a 25mb file but I am not completely sure what it did. This was at 11AM GMT+1, btw. I dismissed it for something else because it did not fix the import bug nor did anyone else comment about downloading a patch on this thread.
It would be great if Origin had a changelog feature. Steam has it as well under product updates/news but it is up to the company to write the changelog. Hell even Desura has a changelog window.

You tell me. I have no idea why it updated in the first place. Is there a way to check the version number?
I read in the patch thread that somebody also downloaded a 25mb file. So it cannot be a coincidence right?

It should tell you in the "game" page of the Configuration Utility, People are reporting a change from v1.03 to v1.3.0.1.

Even if I wanted to try multiplayer I can't (I don't have Xbox Live) or high speed Internet for that matter since it's not available where I live. Once the patch is released for Xbox owners I'll have to make a special trip to Play n Trade so that I can download it. Plus I thought I read somewhere that the patch release date was based on EDT, if that's the case the day is almost half over and the patch still hasn't come out yet.
Edit: EDT = Eastern Daylight Time

A change from 1.03 to 1.3.0.1 is a substantial change for a single patch. I suspect that version numbers are being misread and thus misreported.

MassEffect3.exe: v1.01
MassEffect3Config.exe: v1.03
Clean.exe: v3.01
I take it that I did not get patched properly. Maybe my Origin tried to do it? Anyways thanks for the help but I guess we all have to wait a bit more.
Although with the way things are going I'm expecting a setback.

Exactly! But the nice thing is that they scan your system to help! isnt that lovely?

This. My config returns the same values. The game application is still 1.01, as in what we had since the first patch after launch. 1.03 is for the config tool and is a different version because it's a different program. Still, using config to confirm the patch is a good idea. Thanks for highlighting it.lillitheris wrote...
I don't think the patch is out yet. There was some patch that I was able to install last week (when I reinstalled ME3). Could be Origin, could be something else, but I think that's the one that the early reporters have downloaded…
Edit: just checked, no update, current .exe is 1.01 and config.exe is 1.03.

I didn't say that. I agree with it but can't take credit
