Not at all... this is so typical EA it's not even funny.Tigercml wrote...
Resurgence Pack is up. Patch still isn't up. What a surprise.
I love when BioWare talks about artistic integrity when they sold out all of their artistic integrity to EA.

Left is as he appears in ME2, middle is how this 'fix' imports him, right is closest I have gotten so far with tweaking via the ME3 CC plus Gibbed save editor. I deliberately chose the look of a slightly older veteran soldier, as he is supposed to be a war hero with enough experience and reputation built up to be considered for the first human Spectre (as anyone who's played Mass Effect 1 will remember), but the supposedly 'fixed' ME3 makes him look quite a bit younger, changes his hair colour and eye colour (though, to be fair, you can't really see the eye colour too well in the picture above). I've managed to at least give him red hair using Gibbed, but I think further tweaking is needed, as it's still too dark, and the eye colour is now way too bright and a bit too blue.

I find it really weird how ME3 seems to either make them look really young or really old, anyone else notice this?Zmidponk wrote...

I brought those packs (With in game credits) because they were damned effective, i want them back so I can get the DLC stuff faster :/cApAc aMaRu wrote...
Isn't it awesome how they had 99000 derpy points packs available in the MP store, right up until the patch, just to make sure everyone spent all their derpy points before the pack hit.

I highly doubt that, refer to what Malcroix said.
However, for the purpose of not arguing in a pointless loop, I'll just let it go.
Well, since I just wasted my time doing some tests... That nose is magically in the CC if you import a Shepard that had it, but the patch doesn't make it possible for new characters.

I found that ME3 just makes characters look less detailed, and with less details they more quickly end up in the extremes. So figuratively speaking there are less shades of grey, so you end up looking older or younger than before.
It isn't just Shepard. Compare Anderson in ME3 to how he looked in ME2, on X360 he looked even better in ME1! It is clear ME3 wasn't polished as much as ME2. The fact that we have these import issues is proof as well.

yeah, it looks very washed out, I think it was a stylistic decision, a FREAKING STUPID ONE, but a stylistic decision none the less :/Grey21 wrote...

That's what happens when you abandon the singleplayer, create a multiplayer game, then tack on singleplayer.ThinkIntegral wrote...

Yeah, this. When I first Anderson in the demo I was like NOOOO....! He looked fine in me1 and me2, no reason for the drastic change. Who is this guy? After the face import bug fix, I would love them to restore Anderson, Udina, and Bailey especially. What a disaster. I'll check again, but Anderson probably did look best in me1 (I have the 360 version).

I think it is a stylish decision based on laziness. It is Dragon Age 2 all over again. They also made the decision for a 'stylish modern feel' which basically came down to using textures with little details. The benefit for Bioware is that they can more easily create content. It is also easier to connect various textures (ground and wall for example) when there are fewer details.
Looking at the environments in DA2 makes you realize even KOTOR looked better. Not as sharp mind you, but a lot more artistic details went into them. Bioware really needs to change its attitude. They might think it is okay to go below their own previous production value for a while, but not in this day and age. ME1 was (almost) on top of the game in 2007, but these days we have The Witcher 2 and what they've delivered with DA2 and ME3 simply won't do.
And I'm not even a graphic ****, I just hate lazy design choices as it shows in the atmosphere of the game as well.

It is not yet available for the 360. We're checking with Mircosoft to see when it will be available.
