So, Chris lied about updating this thread too? Great...

Well, if he isn't going to post here, I'll just post my face here and on twitter and hope they'll respond there.

Feel free to use it BTW.

Just got the patch..... I can't say I'm impressed. I remember my reaction with ME2 being "Hey that's my character! Great!" Now it's more or less "Hey there's someone who bares a resemblance to my character!" It's no closer than the slider one I cam up with myself but like so many others, she's not quite right since they removed features from this game that were in ME1.

I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I find it funny when they claim the issues are because ME2 didn't import things right. From what I can tell the import method for ME2 was far superior.

So disappointed. I haven't enjoyed a game series this much since PS2 was new. If they couldn't even get this right I can't wait to see what else is in store during the game itself.

I just updated on 360 (UK)

Haha, the import is pretty much exactly what I had come up with pre patch!

But, in my mind, I feel better as it is MY Shephard and not one I tweaked - if that makes any sense.

I get what you mean, still unacceptable though.

They're subtle differences between my attempt and post- patch, but they're there. I had no faith it would happen, but I has my FemShep back *squeal*

I did still have to adjust mouth width, but that was the sum total of my adjustments. I feel bad now for thinking it wouldn't work!

So yeah tested it, the facial structure is there compared to before but the colours of everything are off, he has bloodshot eyes and the nuances aren't their.

Looks like he had lots of Botox... bad botox.

My tweet is being ignored...

Guess I'll try again during Edmonton business hours, which is in about 4 to 5 hours.

Of course your tweet is being ignored! Unless it's praise or "uncalled for disrespectfullness." you won't get a response.

There have been a few tweets that got responses about problems.

I'm just going to keep trying until I get a normal response.

I have a question how exactly do you do the delete face code option on a me 2 save. I remember my first import character had a "custom appearance" and cancel stage since I thought you could change parts of the appearance in me2 like here. Patch worked ok though for my other characters a little loss of details like scars and rough complexions but over all it was ok.

Better than nothing.

I just want to see what they will have to say.

My shepard is mostly back. At first i thought it was way off but then i loaded up ME2 and realized i had just gotten a bit too use to my imposter shepard and that it was actually closer. The main things that make it hard to notice are actually the lighting. In the CC he looks darker but ingame he looks the same tone, but the skin textures are definitely different in ME3, something which i guess couldn't be changed without essentially getting rid of ME3's graphics and putting ME2's back in, which is what i think is causing the most issues. Animation changes, graphical changes.

Still, it's him. But ME1 shep and ME3 animations have some issues meshing together in the intro sequence, ha. Beaver teeth scene....

My shepard is an ME1 shepard for the record. From what i gather ME1's that didnt get a code in ME2 by hovering over the customize button seem to import a bit more smoothly into ME3. Still, it's obviously not 100%, it's more around 90, maybe 95% there. Still, the CC lighting is really bad, so make sure you go ingame first.

I CANNOT CONNECT TO EA SERVERS ANYMORE!
Are EA servers down for maintenance?
I cannot pass the "connecting to EA servers" message in the title screen!
Tried to cancel the cache, rebooted my router, still nothing... has someone else (expecially someone from Italy) experienced this?

You can do it with the gibbed save editor http://www.masseffec...s.com/tools.php
First back up your save, in case something goes wrong. Than start the editor and load your save. Than I think it's in the RAW tab, and than under "player", there should be a row called "face code" or something similar, just delete the one on the right and save you save.
Than import that save in ME3.

Be sure to back it up though, so you always have your original though.

Well, here's my Shepard with the xbox patch

I guess I can kinda see his face in it, but I think I'm going to be spending most of my lunch tweaking it until I'm happy.

Thanks can I also change certain decisions without risking being banned? I noticed every save I had saved Ashley even though in my list and checking me2 I know I saved Kaidan?

You can change certain decisions, I don't know how easily you can see what decisions are what though.
And I think you won't be banned, since it's just a save file which could be achieved by just playing it.
