Can we get an ETA, Bioware? I'd like to know if I'll have to wait days, or weeks, or what before I can actually play this game. Preferably only a few days, considering how huge of a deal this is to your fans who simply want to play as the same Shepard they've grown connected to and have been playing as for years.
My best guess is that a patch will be ready for PC users AT earliest by the end of next week. Add close to another week for console users. Trouble is that they need to develop the patch that fixes this, then it needs to pass through QA, then it needs to be integrated into Origin, and then it can be distributed to the users

I wanted to clarify something:
Those of you that imported your character from ME1 to ME2, if you just accepted the imported face As Is, then yes you don't have a face code for that character and ME3 can't read it. However, if you just selected Customize and THEN accepted the face you imported, a face code would have been generated.
Thats odd, I tried doing that but it didn't work for me.

You'd come out of surgery with a pancreas where your lungs used to be. It be a real weird looking pancreas too. Like if a pancreas could punch itself in the pancreas face.

Still no progress report?
Not yet. I really doubt it's going to happen in the next few days, unforunately. If they can create a fix at all, it will probably be in weeks, not days.

I bought a flash drive and jumped through damn hoops all morning to convert my 360 saves to PC, but once I had, I could use the tool from the first post same as PC players can. It worked great and now I have my Shepard in the third game. She looks a little different, but in that same way that everyone in this silly game does now. The art changed a little, but she is definitely my Shepard now. Pretty happy I didn't bother waiting for BioWare to fix this.
Did you follow a guide to do this? You got a link for people who want to try this?

Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to change your face (FemShep) mid-game in Mass Effect 3 for PC?
I don't think I'm in mid game yet but I don't think you have that option, only in the Character Creator.

Also, being bald is out of the question for light skinned Shepards. Before you could lighten the hair which would blend with the skin, simulating a bald effect. Not this time. You can see the hair clearly. Ugh.

It's because it doesn't work. The code you get is fake and is for the face you "custimized". If you want to get the real face code then you need to do the guide.
The code looks great, except the eyes (in ME3) at least for me.

The farthest right option for Complexion makes my male Shepard look like he hasn't slept in a month. Plus he has HUGE dark bags under his eyes. What's up with that? It never darkened the eyes to this extreme for the previous games... I am so depressed. I just want my old Shepard back!

If I were Shephard and knew the Reapers were coming while everyone else ignored me... I wouldn't be able to sleep either.

If Bioware really honestly cared about their loyal fanbase who has shoveled money at them since 2007, they would give us an ETA on when to expect this patch.

I don't know if they really know what the ETA is either. This page: [https://help.ea.com/...?showhome=true] proves that they knew about the issue beforehand and allowed it to make it into the final game. Whether this is because they didn't think people would be upset or they just didn't care, I don't know. But they may be trying to figure out a way they even CAN fix the facial system, so an ETA might not be realistic.
