I hope so too! I was kind of miffed that I didn't get a reply today to be honest, I e-mailed them well before 6PM. So either their work hours are REALLY good, or they're very busy (preferably with loading the ME3 CEs on their vans ).

I've changed my order to the normal version so I can play on release day. Huge disapointment and the last time I'll waste time and money on this pre-ordering mess.

hehe yeh. bol sended me skyrim 2 days before release so maybe they make the same mistake with ME3 xD
Doubt it though, what worries me now is their quantity of ME3 CE's

-I realize that. And I sympathize with you. Preordiering and getting shafted because some pencilpusher in the logistics and shipping dept of EA fouled up is crap. But the fact remains that you cannot simply "shop somewhere else" in Europe because alot if not most of the European CE's are allready preorderd or have been sold out.

So. Youre out of luck... and that 5Euro discount or voucher you might get toward a new game almostt only adds insult to injury. You ordered it before anyone else and joe-shmoe can waltz into the shop and get the vanilla game before you do. No way to treat people who preorderd... and certainly no way to treat loyal clients who preordered... but hey. Maybe next time... if there is a next time?

I've ordered the PC-version at bol.com and so far I have no reason to believe I won't receive it. Also found a reply from their customer service on an other forum:

U heeft contact gezocht met onze klantenservice omdat u graag wilt weten
of u de 'Mass Effect 3 Collectors Edition' nog gaat ontvangen omdat het
artikel niet meer zichtbaar is op onze website. Wij begrijpen dat dit
vervelend is.

Collector's editions van games zijn vaak beperkt beschikbaar. Zodra de
beschikbare exemplaren allemaal gereserveerd zijn wordt het artikel van
de site verwijderd zodat er niet teveel bestellingen voor dit artikel
binnenkomen.

Wij verwachten dat u het artikel op de verschijningsdatum van 8 maart geleverd zal krijgen.

Wij hopen u hiermee voldoende te hebben geïnformeerd.

I'll be hauling my butt out of bed super early in the morning this Thursday. There's a FRS that opens at 8am at Eindhoven station. The other ones open an hour later, then the Media Markt at 10. Wish me luck.

Thanks ElmarO. I'll be crossing my fingers. The thing that made me a bit wary was that someone else on the BSN got his PS3 CE today from bol.com and I got nothing yet. I pre-ordered in November too so I hope nothing went wrong

More ideally, I hope that the game will drop through the letterbox (the day after) tomorrow.

Read something similar, which got me worried as well. This eased my mind a bit, but I'll be crossing my fingers as well.

I guess we can only be truly 100% certain when the game actually finds its way to our houses. But this message sure is rather reassuring.

Is it really that far-fetched to look for the CE somewhere else (i.e. other country) or why does everyone seem to be incapable to think of that? Or is there something else I'm missing?

It's selling out everywhere, people have been doing that and thus people in those countries have less copies to go around. This happens whenever a huge game comes out, there's never enough CE to go around >.<

Regarding the OP - same thing happenned in Poland. EA has cut the number of CEs shipped to Poland mid-February, when they had been all sold out (PC versions anyways), and many retailers had to cancel some of the preorders. Happened to mine.

Some CEs reappeared today (!!!) in one store, I placed my order there. Time will tell whether it's legit or just a quirk of the store or something.

I guess if someone is too lazy to have a look at amazon.fr, then he deserves not to get a CE.

-Somehow I do not think that the first place people all around europe look for games is France. I mean... I lived in France (Granted... Strassbourg is the bastard  child of germany and france) and I know the french can be... well.. French... but regardless its not the first place you look. Id look to UK and German suppliers way before Id turn to a french source.

So... "Lazy" has nothing to do with it, and the implied ad hominem doesnt help. But thanks for trying. It does really play into the prejudice most of Europe has about the french.

There's always eBay of course, but we'll probably end up paying at least twice the retail price.
