so if i go by the "No news is good news" then i should get my pre order from Bart Smit
as i haven't got an email or SMS that it was cancelled
so i'm hoping everything is ok

and at Von_Lipwich the Game Mania info is incorrect as they told me 2 or 3 weeks ago when i was checking for a friend for the Xbox CE they said they were all Sold Out and weren't taking new Xbox CE orders
not sure if that was only for that store

The CE's at GameMania are all long sold out but it is confirmed that they can deliver all pre-orders so that none get cancelled

I bought the last PC copy of bol.com, so I'm likely to be the first shafted if they get too few copies :-(

Hmm no mail from bol.com that the package is underway. A week ago they sent a response that pre-orders will be delivered 24 hours before release day, which should have been today at 0:00. Also because bol usually sends stuff at midnight.

I also send them an email covering the 'rumours' of the lack of CE's, and if I will still get mine, but no response either...

I also did the pre-order in november by the way, on the 19th, the pc-version.

Both the pc- and ps3 versions are still 'available' at the freerecordshop online store, the x360 is gone.

It's also possible they did get their copies but they just oversold - or they received fewer copies than they were supposed to. So 12game seems like a mixed bag then, some people did get their copies, some didn't.

pew, just went to the Bart Smit store and my copy of ME CE Xbox was in and they had not heard of any problem with the Xbox CE/ PC CE but were sold out Only PS3 CE left
so i assume that Pre Orders are Safe

they were not allowed to sell them yet .... Bummer

I had been F5-ing my mailbox yesterday night, hoping for an e-mail from bol.com, but no luck. Hopefully we'll get it tonight.

Good to hear Bart Smit is safe though, that's one less to worry about

Just got two copies of the CE from FRS for PC. So relieved, I was pretty worried I wouldn't be able to get the CE.

The Netherlands, sorry. I did pre-order (actually, my boyfriend did) but that wasn't too long ago. Our original order was with GameMania but they didn't mail a confirmation and send the money back.. that was in December I guess.

Anyhow, both CE copies got delivered about an hour ago.

Getting quite a few mixed signals here. Some stores aren't selling but their pre-orders are fine, other stores arre both stating they didn't get the CE but at the same time are sending them out... THIS IS MADNESS.

Kind of a confusing situation but I'll try to make sense of it And thanks for all the additional information, people! Please keep it coming!

EDIT: Also, still haven't received any e-mail from bol.com, neither in response to my query nor a note saying my order's been shipped. Starting to get nervous now, the order status still says that it's being 'processed'.

I've just double-checked the 12game situation - orders for the PC CE placed before 21-01-2012 are fine, while the orders placed after that date are all cancelled.

Here's the email that someone received from them:

Good luck, you might get lucky.

I did read somewhere, that even if you have your copy, you still can't play it untill the 9th in Europe.. Not sure if that's true though, it's almost done installing here.

I THINK it's the ninth in the UK, but the eighth in the rest of Europe. Not entirely sure though.

8th for NL...or you could proxy through Asian/US and unlock it, then switch back to your normal internet and play

It claims thursday the 8th at 00:00. Unless I'm mistaken that's midnight tonight, aka the wee hours of the morning on thursday. However when I checked the release date some places still indicated the 9th for europe, but I think that's just confusion..

Anyway it's possible to get around that silly release date nonsense and play right now, but we're not allowed to discuss how to openly on the forums.

They don't have any copies of the PC CE as of right now and they don't know whether they'll be getting any. It's not known whether they can still deliver them.

Finished installing, and just so everyone knows, if you're in Europe, you cannot play even if you have the game before 'official' (read; nonsense) release.

It's a typical EA problem. DA2 Signature Edition had exact the same problem. I ordered them at a local store only to get a call launch day they simply didn't get any. Had to call every store till I found a copy at Bart Smit.

That Bol.Com and Mediamarkt would get shafted is very suprising, if the guy on the phone was correctly informed? I've always had trouble getting reliable info out of bol.com.

Did any of you order a CE console version through the EA store? Any know how safe those are?
