I'm having a slightly different problem on eden prime, I've lost all textures and sound. Basically its just different shades of black. I can no longer save/load/start a new game either, it just crashes. I have tried with Nvidia and AMD graphics cards, with no luck. Anyone else getting something like this?

This crashed for me 100% repeatable until I watched the "pod" flashback" BEFORE watching the "signal" one. Natural progression will lead you to the signal one first, so you gotta go past it and get the pod one

Thanks a lot that totally worked. I still hope this and some of the other bugs gets fixed tho.

I visit the sites in reverse order (second lab first), but I still get a freeze.  My system actually freezes a few seconds after entering the room with the pod data, regardless of whether or not I activate the pod data computer (the sound continues, but the video completely freezes).  I tried twiddling with the graphics settings, and on some settings it even freezes in the second lab.  I have also tried restarting the mission, with the same result.

Same problem here, work around worked for me, still able to walk around the Normandy currently.

I am having this exact problem. It's very strange. I have an Nvidia 570 with the current latest drivers as well.

Doing the second transmission first worked for me.

I'm getting really, really annoyed with this. I've tried so many things to fix it and nothing is working. I was so excited for this game but the bugs make it unbearable most of the time. I should have bought it on the xbox.

Armed with Shuriken 1 (Mods: SMG Ultralight Materials 1, Scope 1) and Predator 1 Heavy Pistol (unmodified).

Workaround (getting the pod opened first) worked well.

Okay, mine's not crashing, but textures aren't showing up. It's the same type of problem I had with Liara in another thread I made. Things are just plain black, and sound doesn't work. I can't hear my companions.

This is the same issue I'm having, I tried just deleting the game and re-installing but now it just tells me the DLC is not installed.

Froze for me 4 times, then I went for the second? pod, not the one to the right. And that worked.

Lol, no worries, xbox people have their own fair share of problems with this DLC... including freezing in this same excat situation. So you might not be any better off!

Hey guys. I just experienced this crash on my DLC as well, but before I tried the "find pod data in different order" (I wanted to avoid this, if possible, after hearing about the possible Normandy freezes...) I actually mashed Escape and occasionally hit Space during the cutscene and dialogue following. It brought up my Menu (where you save/Journal/blah/blah) just a little before I would normally freeze, and once I closed it, I would be able to move afterwards. Hope it helps for you, too.

- Armor : N7 - Customized with some random parts, which I don't recall as I'm posting this. >.>

First time I played through this it didn't happen.
Second time it keeps happening.
Only difference: first time I had James Vega and Liara, and it didn't crash.
Second time I have Garrus and Liara.
