So, I imported a Mass Effect 2 character and Shep's starting level was 28, exactly where I had left him. I have played the game for about five hours now, have made progress through the story and attained level 31.

After heading to the Citadel to check in on Ashley and get some extra missions, I brought up my squad menu to see that I am at level 1.

Has anyone else run into this issue/found a fix for this?

It's going to be rather depressing if I'm stuck with this.

Now this is randomly occurring to characters in my party. Not sure what's up with this...

Same thing here, I imported my save.. which was lvl 31... spent all my points.. saved my game to take a break, now Im lvl 1 and all of my abilities are locked. To make it worse, since Ive already purchased them it wont let me use them. Any found a work around? Oh.. and all my companions are also now lvl 1, and cant apparently use their abilities either.

Did you install the m-90 Indra DLC?

My save reverted to lvl 1 with 0 credits and fuel when I installed it earlier.

Negative. Now that I think about it, though, I did lose all my credits earlier, too....

 I used a brand new character and I played for about three hours last night. Suddenly I'm level one again. I'm not very happy about this. Last thing I did was purchase fortification from the Med Bay.

Whelp, this is definitely a major concern then as it affects both new and imported characters.

Same happens here (suddenly lvl 1). Sadly, I'm in the final mission. Is there a console commando to restore my lvl or I am dammed to load an old save and replay my way from there?

This just happened to me too, the only save not affected is 8 hours behind in playtime or so, guess I'll park this character and focus on the multiplayer until there's a fix/patch/solution. Seriously how does something like this slip past QA in a AAA title?

Happened to me too.

After the primarch mission I think.
If a load up different save from WAAAAY back the levels are restored. But I'm not redoing it again.

So it wasn't only happened to me. I got reset be4 the Primarch mission all my credit poofed to 0

I think I lost the credits early on as well.

But I am sure I was lvl 30+ on the primarch mission.

I am curious though, I am not completely lvl1.

I have some EXP. Is this just a display bug? Anyone tried to level up after this?

Giving this an up, I really don't want to re-do 5 hours of play (and the issue doesn't have a quick solution)

Same problem here too. Imported ME1/2 character... nearly at level 50 and then my level just goes to 1. Im pretty angry about this as well. AAA titles should not have bugs of this magnitude. There should be a patch.
