I can't access the cluster that Irune is in. It simply isn't on my Galaxy Map.

Also, the heating units aren't in my Spectre requisition shop. Do I need to trigger something specific to get them to show up? Thanks much.

The Biotic Amps came to me a few missions after Jack's mission. They were just sitting in the Spectre requisition shop. I thought I had somehow missed them during Jack's mission. Maybe side quest specific items that you don't get on missions show up later in your requisition shop? That way they're not gone forever?

If you miss them in the missions they do indeed end up at you requisitions terminal in the Citadel.

I think it's a bug, it's near a cluster where the Krogan DMZ zone is (can't be arsed to look what the name of the cluster is) but it should be on the other side of the map. Had the same problem but eventually found it. Also in my first playthrough it was stated that the cluster was at 100% but I found the artifact there.

It's not a bug. Just do some more of the main story and you'll be able to do them.

Some side missions can only be done after you progress the story and open up more star systems... it's pretty annoying.

The thing is that I'm pretty sure Irune is supposed to be on the other side of the Galaxy. The location isn't given explicitely but it's hinted that it's supposed to be somewhere else. Also like I said, my playthrough it said 100% but I hadn't recovered the artifact on Irune.

You have to do one of the side quests on Tuchanka; the one that involves the cannon. That's where you get the grid from.

I also don't have the Aethon Cluster on my galaxy map (PC version), and I can't complete the heating stabilisers or cannon quests despite acquiring the items/information, neither NPC character is in the Presidium Commons. It's quite frustrating. (I only have Tuchanka priority quest left in this section of the game).

Heating Stabilizers opens up after you finish Tuchanka, Citadel II, and the Noveria Cerberus base (white multiplayer).  You can either find the schematics there or go to the Spectre Requisitions office and purchase them afterwards, at which point you can then finish the sidequest.  There's a few others that trigger like this where the quest is offered before the system is.

Can you do this with the Eden Prime documents as well? I'm missing one and can't go back but haven't heard of it being located requisitions terminal ( though speaking of which, is that in the Spectre hub? ).

As for Irune, I've head it only becomes available after Cerberus attacks the Citadel.

I've run into a different problem.

The Aethon Cluster is at 100%, I keep scanning in and around Irune but nothing more shows up (besided the reapers),

I've scanned everything, however I can't speak to Barla Von (Angry Accountant). There's no option for interaction at all. I've only got one mission left before the 'point of no return'

..on a side note, Minos Wasteland is blinking as if there's a mission there, but again the system's at 100% scanned

Barla Von and the Angry Accountant are not the same Volus.  They are different.  Von gives you the Shadow Broker squad quest, and after you complete that one and talk to him he disappears.  Von is behind the desk near the Elkoss Combine terminal.

The Angry Accountant is in fact the Book of Plenix quest, and that should be on Irune.  If you have scanned Irune and not picked it up, I don't know what to tell you.  The Angry Accountant is always to the left of the Elkoss Combine terminal near some couches.

The Minos Wasteland thing is annoying and is definitely a bug.
