Maybe someone here can help me with this - I'm importing my ME2 Shep, but I have a few alternate saves based on the romance options. Basically, I finished ME2 the way I wanted without committing to anyone, made a save, then proceeded to romance everyone to see the cut scenes, etc and made a save for each. Does anyone know if ME2's romance choice has any bearing on the story in ME3? I could go with anyone or no one for the import.

If you save after the romance and it's after the suicide mission, choose that specific save.

All of my saves are after the suicide mission with the best possible outcome. My main question is that since I have a separate save for each romance option including none/Kelly, which if any effect the story in ME3? For example, if I import the Miranda one, would it be different in any way from importing the no romance one? Also, this Shep chose Ash in ME1.

Yes, it'll be different. The amount different can vary.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. Granted, I'll end up doing a few playthroughs but I hate missing content the first time through.

Every choice you made in the previous games will return one way or the other.

The ending is set in stone though, nothing changes that.

Hell. The only romance I can continue is with Jack, as none of my other goddamn saves will show up in this broken importer.

I went ahead and did the no romance import mainly because while playing ME2, I made a point to have that loyalty save in case it effected the Ash thing in ME3. Now I'm thinking somehow I might miss some content by not choosing a Miranda or w/e save. Oh well.

Nothing matters in the end.
