Hey, i was thinking about buying BF3 and today i saw that apparently there is an "Battlefield 3" class for ME3. i read about it and it seems that only people that have it on Origin unlocks that. Do i need to buy it in the Origin browser? otherwise i was thinking about getting it retail.

I have Battlefield 3 and have activated my Online pass...yet no kit. I am just assuming it's another handjob to PC players.

I have it unlocked and I have both games on PC.

Some people had it in the demo and, from what I can tell, it changes the Soldier class name to "Battlefield Soldier" with no change to powers. So I don't think you're missing anything.

I still kind of want it. It'll be nice to have until I unlock the Krogan Soldier 10 years from now.

actually from what i can tell there is a change. concussive shot is changed to the krogans carnage.

also, im a PS3 player as well and im still having trouble getting it to unlock. it would be nice to hear an official word. my favorite class is the soldier class and i really would like to use this altered class specifically. im really hoping there is a simple explanation to this and it doesnt involve PS users getting the shaft again. i really could care less which console is the best but if bioware doesnt want to support the PS community then they lost one more customer.

well i still dont have it as of 10 minutes ago, so if you are a PS3 person you might want to hold off. im starting to wish i did. here i thought the fact that they didnt mention it as a 360 exclusive or PC exclusive would mean that PS3 people would get it as well.

I'm pretty sure it's as long as you have Activated a BF3 Online Pass.

I have an activated BF3 Online Pass for PS3, which got me MP Early Access entitlement. I was able to play the ME3 MP Demo early access on PC, but did NOT receive the BF3 kit for PC. Seems that perhaps you have to have both passes for the same platform?

I had BF3 on the 360 and it unlocked the kit and the Special Battlefield 3 soldier class on the 360..... Was shocked when I saw it since I had no Idea it was in the game.

This seems to be a growing issue. There must be a good reason for PS3 owners of both BF3 and ME3 getting left in the dark on this.

yeah i posted on another site my exact same experience. i was going to post here again, but i figured i should be patient with bioware. i know nobody is going to be reading at this hour. my EA experience is exactly the same as yours. i gave them the post from DICE's official battlefield facebook page. which is the only confirmed source i know of that this things actually exists and they said the same thing to me. i told them to tell that to DICE i wasnt aware that whenever a dev says something they need to make sure its on an official EA post or it means its fake. you would think DICE would know what the heck they were talking about....
