Looks like if you modify / customize you keybindings it ****s it up.  Nice job Bioware!  Takes a lot of skill to implement key bindings.  sigh.

I have the same problem.  I have remapped keys as well.  This is going to be a major bummer if we have to keep remapping keys between missions and exporation sessions. :(

I can't scan either, and i didn't remap keys either. No graphic display to the right of the planet.

 Still not fixed? Oh come on. I'm going to finish the game without doing any scanning at this rate. It's a key binding issue. It's not like we're wanting the graphics engine rewritten from the ground up.

Yeah, it seems like a simple bug to fix. I am hoping that whatever update they publish that fixes the face-import-bug will also include dozens of other fixes as well.
