I typed in, and downloaded my Online Pass code that came with my Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 3 on Xbox360, the problem is that the Galaxy at War feature in the game just wont work. I was able to join a multiplayer lobby but the Galaxy at War map will not work same goes for the computer screen on the main menu.

What am I supposed to do about this?!?!?!?

.....on the Main Menu top right corner on the upper computer screen, it says "Load Failed. Cannot connect to server".

I would just like to know if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone knows how to fix it.

i too see the load failed thing. apparently they didnt bug test the game much, faces arent importing (i encountered this issue), gear isnt being imported from 2 (ive only read the game is supposed to import armor/weapons from other users, i didnt get any gear that carried over, but many have stated they did :/)

Darn. Same problem. Tried downloading the stuff and all. :(

On a perhaps related note - I sometimes get an error that 'a sign in change has ocurred' which is odd. Happened with ME2 also.

Also the iPhone app has the same problem and won't connect either. So I'm wondering if it's an issue with our origin profiles?

Also, if I check the game on here, leaderboards works fine, however galaxy at war and achievements don't show up. Just keeps saying that it successfuly synched the game (which it didn't) and won't show anything when clicking on 'galaxy at war' for ME3. :?

I get exactly what Mike Aus has. I tried mass effect infiltrator yesterday and that game won't sync either. What a pain....

Hey Illusive one - did you by any chance also change your gamer tag in the past?

That's the only thing I can think of. Since my email has always been the same and is the same as my xbox live one.

Interestingly enough, when I check EA.com, Battlefield 3 and ME3 come up as never having been played online. While all my older games have a tick next to them... I played both though.

The plot thickens... when I check my online profile on EA, it says that I previously played FIFA 11 and CC Tiberium Wars. Both of which I never did and they don't appear in my list of games on my xbox. WTH?

Actually CC I did, ages ago but it comes on the list as recently. And FIFA never got within 10km of my console. So that makes no sense... unless someone hijacked the profile?

Nope, I never changed anything since I created the account. I hope this problem gets resolved soon :(

It's weird then. Given that it's an issue with both the iOS and the xbox game, it can't be connection related as I tried the iOS over the phone network. So connection issues are ruled out.

All that remains is an issue with Origin/EA and the profile.

All the info loads ok. Bioware says I've got ME3 and even lets me download the soundtrack (doing as I type this).

But none of the Galaxy at War stuff works.

I'm stumped and I've tried everything...

Also EA were no help. I got:

"I apologize but through chat support we don't have anyone available who can help you with this issue.

But I am sure that if you post your issue on the official forums, someone from the community of moderator side would definitely reply back to you."

More notes: Whenever you click on 'Galaxy Map' from the games on this site, it goes from the right URL to &v=bw_games&game=masseffect3&task=activate - indicating that it keeps trying to activate it again.

Then asks for your password ad goes back to the previous page saying it synced it. :(

I got the CE (Xbox 360) and put in the disk downloaded the update and then entered my online pass. Everything worked fine and I was able to download the DLC.
I started the game up today and was surprised to see that it wanted my activation code for the online pass again, so I entered it again and this time got an error "this is used by another user" (or something along those lines). So now I am unable to play Multilayer or use the Galaxy at War map.

All this plus my ME2 import was all messed up saying I killed the council in ME1 (which is false) and that in ME2 I never romanced anyone (also false).

Please fix this asap Bioware, I want to try Multilayer without buying an online pass that I already should have.

Edit: Nice catch lol

I spent about 2.5 hours on the phone and now have an open ticket with EA. They are passing it onto someone who might be able to fix things. It would be nice if someone from Bioware could look into this as well.
