Oh, and I put in both codes/on-line pass and activation code, and it didn't help my syncing at all.

I finally got it to work. When I contacted ea 2 weeks ago one guy forwarded my case to have looked at. After a long time I got an email saying they have made changes to my account. Ask for them to do the same and it will be fixed.
