Every attempt to log into DA servers gives 'please try again' message

I have created my account on the EA site, but when I attempt to log into the game with the account, I get a 'please try again' message (yes, that is the complete message).

if I attempt to create the account via the game with my email, it gives me a message stating that the name already exists.

Unfortunately, I entitled the armor code to this account, so I would prefer to have a fix for this rather than having to create a new account via the game.

Are there any specific firewall settings that I need to enable to allow the game to contact the servers?  If so, which ports would I need to open on the firewall.

And yes, I have an internet connection since I am posting this while attempting this in game :)

 I am also having the same issue. If I try enough times I get the Too many attempts and it locks me out for a time. I guess it is back to the manual and the forums. 

Any help would be appreciated

having the same issues and it is begining to bug me. i can not use the free DLC content i got with the pre order, and i can not log on to the ea server. any help would be great.

Same here. I'm contacted support through chat and even called their phone number. They keep saying its being elevated to a senior technician, but I never hear anything back from them.

Any update?



I tried setting up a new account with a different email address. When I did that, I get a message stating that the displayname is already in use (there was no ability to select a display name).

I have the same problem every time I try to log in it says servers are unavailable. I can't use the codes for free DLC any help would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone already found a solution for this problem? Dragon Age does not connect to the server at all and tells me after 2nd try that I shall try again later. So no DLC, no redeeming of the pre-order item etc.



I read in another forum that this is due to the overload on EAs servers but the problem persists now for a couple of days.



Any idea anybody?

I have the exact same problem and have been conferring back and forth with EA for over a month with no results.



I originally thought that it was because my accounts weren't linking up but after I got an EA admin to manually link them together it appears it isn't the problem.



As such the only response EA has given me is to create a new email, EA account, and PSN (which effectively means that my 2 first characters and 20+ trophies which are attached to my default psn are useless). I'm currently in talks with them about other options that are available, but considering the response time and the effectiveness I've had with the Customer Service group I'm not expecting much.
