I bought the Collectors Edition and downloaded all the stuff to my Xbox. The Stone Prisoner DLC doesn't show up as bought in the XBL Game Marketplace, which I understand it doesn't for anyone getting it through using a promotion-code.

So when I bought the Warden's Keep DLC, I bought it from the XBL Game Marketplace and not in-game, just to make sure that it was marked as bought, since I wasn't sure buying it in-game would do that (having the stuff you have bought marked, makes it easier to see when new stuff arrives).

When I then later made this account here and found out that DLC downloaded through the Game Marketplace doesn't show up under "Your registered game promotions" I wonder if that will affect me in some way, now or later. Maybe for future promotions or something else.

So what is the exact differences between buying DLC in-game or through the XBL Game Marketplace? Does it or will it matter if DLC I buy shows up under "Your registered game promotions"?

And does buying DLC in-game mark the DLC as bought in the XBL Game Marketplace?

If you go to the "Your registered game promotions" page it states "Xbox

Any content purchased through XBox Live will not appear in this list." I doubt that buying it ingame would be any different then buying it through XBL, since you use Microsoft Points through Microsoft's system to buy it.



It would be wise to assume that buying the DLC in game would mark it on XBL Marketplace.

Nope, check your Stone Prisoner in game and then check Stone Prisoner in the marketplace. You can still buy it there for $15.
