Sorry I'm posting this here; as I can't post in the tech support forum (yeah that's silly). I can't post in the Origin tech support forum either.

Anyhow, I installed Origin, rebooted PC, popped in retail version of ME3 disc 1, and hit setup.

It launched Origin, signed in, etc.

Got a pop up for ME3, hit "INSTALL"

Now I'm sitting at the Origin window with a second pop up labeled "Origin - Activate Mass Effect 3". It's blank. The only thing I can do is close it (no refresh option or anything of the sort).

Screenie of my problem >> http://tinypic.com/r/juxv21/5

Things I've tried to do already:

01. Run Origin as admin. Rebooted.
02. Grant Origin trusted status in firewall.
03. Disable firewall/AV software. Rebooted.
04. Spam F5 on the blank Activate window.
05. Update to the pre-release version of Origin (didn't seem to update anything though). Rebooted.
06. Spend 2 hours browsing BSN and Origin tech support forums for anything similar.
07. Google it repeatedly hoping something new will show up.
--EDIT--
08. Confirmed Windows clock was set to sync with time.windows.com. Rebooted.
09. Activated and deactivated Automatic Root Certificate Updates. Rebooting 3 times.
10. Input the code manually via the "Redeem Product Code" option in Origin. Also displays as blank window.
11. Deleted the pref files from C:\\ProgramData\\Electronic Arts dir. Rebooted.
12. Enabled cookies and scripting for origin.com and associated domains in default web browser (FF 10.0.2).
13. Ran Origin in compatability mode (XPsp3, Vista/SP1/SP2). Rebooted.
14. Reinstalled Origin. Rebooted.

Steps I'm NOT going to take:

01. Reinstall win7. This is a fresh install roughly two months old.

At this point, I'm assuming it has something to do with the underlying web code that Origin uses; some sort of certificate problem or something to that effect.

FWIW I'm running Win7 Pro x64, fully updated.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as would a mod moving this to the correct forum, as I can't seem to register/activate the game I just bought.

Thanks!

jsmile39 send me a message when you get this resolved with CS. I'll move this post to the tech support board when you do so other people having the same problem can hopefully see the fix easier.

Thanks guys, I'll move this to the tech support board and pass it along to the team in the morning.
