I don't know if this will work for other people but it worked for me, uninstall origin and start the installation for Mass Effect 3 and it will prompt you to install origin before installing mass effect and let origin install using the game. It resolved the blank screens for me.

I had just re-installed Windows 7 on my SSD, so I'm wondering if there was some runtime missing that was causing part of Origin not to work when you just downloaded the latest version straight from the website, but was included on the disk.

Had blank white window in Origin after clicking Install.
Uninstalled Origin and let the game install it and ME3 is now activated and installing.

Reinstalling Origin really helped, but had to do it several times.
