i had a problem with importing at first as well, i had files on 2 hard drives and it was only picking up the external one i have the game installed on. I moved all the files from the internal over to the external with no luck so i decided to remove the external HD (after turning off the system) waited about 5 mins and tried again, that time it found the saves.

I tried with no luck............ this is just horse ****. They make us pay an extra 10$ on release for full game and the game itself isnt even functioning.

The lack of responses on these threads is really annoying, i would think on the day of release they would have someone at least watching this section of the forums. I mean we arent getting payed as bug testers and we are trying to help them fix issues and there is no response.

I have postulated a hypothetical method for making saves unseen by Mass Effect 3 visible, though I have not been able to test it myself, as I have experienced no import problems. You will need to verify that your saves are still usable in Mass Effect 2 beforehand, however.

That is unfortunate, though if you were able to borrow or rent the game for long enough to create a new save file, you would be able to test the method that I have suggested.

Unfortunately, I can offer no guarantee that the method actually works.  I do know that the procedure on which it is based works for importing a PC Mass Effect 2 save into a format usable by the XBox 360 version of Mass Effect 3, but whether it can salvage an undetected XBox 360 savegame is unknown.

xbox will look at this as modding I think. Not sure if it's worth the risk
