I want to unlock Marksman to use as a bonus power-- about how far into the game will I have to get to unlock it?  Does it even unlock for all characters?  My import save has a living Kaiden so I'm planning on doing a speed run to the point where Marksman unlocks then going back and playing the game regularly.

I'm hoping it works in conjunction with Adrenaline Rush.

Any discussion on how to get bonus powers and when you can get them would be welcome.

Well I'm wondering about the bonus powers too.
All I want to know is what the bonus powers are.. I know of three so far Warp ammo (From Laira, by talking with her after I wanna say five or so missions) Armor Piercing Ammo (from Garrus, shortly after I picked him up and talked to him.) and Fortification (James, got it just by talking to him after I got on the ship). I know Warp ammo was a must have on higher levels in ME2 but when I played on the lower levels I just used slam. So can anyone tell me what the other bonus powers are as well as when you get them?

I heard "Defense Matrix" was a bonus power as well. Is this true?

So squadmates only offer up one bonus power each? They don't offer both? Dang. I wanted Dark Channel or Reave.

I wanted Dark Channel as well. I wish there was a way to make my biotics green. LOL.

There are a total of 14 bonus powers, as long as you do a game with both Ashley and Kaiden. Each squad mate provides two bonus powers at different times. Dark channel does become available, you just have to keep trying to talk to Javik when ever you can.

Carnage and Fortification (James)
AP Ammo (Garrus)
Warp Ammo (Liara)
Inferno Grenade and Marksman (Ashley)
Dark Channel and Slam (Javik)
Defense Drone and Energy Drain (Tali)
Defense Matrix and Decoy (EDI)
12 total

I assume Kaidan is going to give me Reave and Barrier for a total of 14. So I'm guessing Stasis and Proximity mine aren't bonus powers anymore? Or does the 14 total not count Javik? I'm pretty sure I did every convo with Garrus and Liara though.

BLAST! I have to play with Ash... guess I'll be making a new ME3 shep. Don't get me wrong I like Ash it's just Kaidan is my fav its going to really kill me to play that game... *sighs* Oh well.

I wish we were able to pick which powers we could use. Seeing as shep normally has 8 powers and a 9th if you add the bonus; personally I would love to have 1.Adrenaline Rush, 2.Concussive Shot, 3.Inferno Grenade, 4.Throw, 5.Slam, 6.Combat Mastery, 7.Fitness and As for my 8th and 9th I'm not sure yet but Nova was fun in the demo. Haven't played enough with the others to really pick which move would be fun yet not over powering at the same time....

Indeed, that was my mistake. Forgot to include Javik in the totals!

Stasis is Liara's 2nd bonus power. You can get any power a squaddie has.

Play the game and talk to Liara often. There will be a milestone scene and then you will get it. Make sure you talk to your crew mates once in awhile.

Carnage comes from the guy that has carnage....

Ashley - Marksman
Vega - Fortification & Carnage
Garrus - Armor-Piercing Ammo & Proximity Mine
Liara - Warp Ammo & Stasis
Edi - Defense Matrix
Javik - Slam & Dark Channel

However I know you get Reave from Kaiden
