I'm not sure if there is already a thread concerning this, but I'm hoping someone can help me regardless.
When I opened up my copy of DA:O and popped it into my 360, I attempted to get the DLC using the redemption codes that came with the game. I tried entering them in the exact way they were printed on the paper, and i tried inputing them with simply the letters and numbers. When I eventually got the codes to register, it said that the code was not valid. The game is new, and to my knowledge, no one saw these codes before I did. Is there any way I can get either a replacement for these codes, or is there something that I am doing wrong? If someone could point me in the right direction, it would be most appreciated.

You should probably either email Microsoft, or swap the game with the retailers you bought it from. Microsoft because it could be a bug in their system, and retailer for an employee possibly stealing the code or whatnot.

I have the same problem. I can get my Blood Dragon Armor, but not Shale.
Because I got the Armor, I know I am inputting the code properly. I currently have the same problem with another EA product.

After you put the code in, you have to download it (dumb, right?) have you tried that? I have completed parts of DA Journeys and signed into the forum but the bonus DLC is nowhere to be found on my game. Any idea how I get access to the stuff I got outside the game?

Also make sure you are downloading off the GAMES download menu and not one of the Xbox live blades- hope it helps

In regards to the first post are you inputting the codes in capital letters. If memory serves all the letters have to be in capitals.

As mentioned above, you have to log in to the DA servers in-game (problematic, I know), then select downloadable content from the menu and find the option to input the code there. If you are trying to input it right into XBL, it won't work. You just need to input the code without hyphens. It may need to be capital letters... I'm just glad I have the chatpad for these types of things.

I'm aware of how to use the dlc. I've gotten everything that came with the game to work. I just don't know what the deal is with these out of game items. Do they email you a code? If so, it's been a while and I got no codes.

If you have problems redeeming one of your codes you can contact customer support. They'll be able to add the missing content entitlement to your account. http://help.dragonage.com

I just want to go on record as saying how much of a complete joke that was. I did the live chat just now. Here it is for your amusement.
Hi, my name is Rick. How may I help you? [06:47:35 AM]
: Hi, I'm having some problems with dlc [06:48:01 AM]
Rick: What problem are you facing? [06:45:04 AM]
:
I earned an item by setting up a profile on the forums and another from
playing dragon age journeys and I'm not sure how I redeem those. Am I
going to get an email with the code? [06:49:13 AM]
Rick: ok [06:46:24 AM]
Rick: I'm escalating your issue to our senior support for further investigation. [06:46:38 AM]
: ok [06:50:04 AM]
Rick: You will be contacted through email [06:47:01 AM]
: for senior support or with the codes? [06:50:38 AM]
Rick: Senior
support. [06:47:50 AM]
: is there a timeframe for that? [06:51:15 AM]
Rick: As soon as possible. [06:48:33 AM]
: I guess that'll have to do. ok [06:52:02 AM]
Rick: Is there anything further I may assist you with today? [06:50:14 AM]
: apparently not. [06:53:48 AM]
Rick: Thank You, have a nice day. [06:50:36 AM]
So, what exactly are they qualified to answer without a supervisor? Do I put the disc in shiny side up or down? How does the package open? Is it safe for me to ingest the instruction manual?

It took my codes but some of the content doesn't appear in game(for sale or otherwise). I did download the items. Would deleting and re-downloading work? Or is it a one time download for the code?
