I think whevever you get him he sits out one mission to get healthy from wakeing up.  I think.

I think he is OK, but a lot like the Zaeed, not much conversation. I have only used him once.

I don't like useing him just cuz everyone is not like "WTF?!?! Is that a Prothiam?". No they just ignore the fact that he is there.

He has some interesting dialogue on Thessia (he will point out to Liara that figures worshipped by the asari look exactly like protheans...)

Really? I think he has interesting dialogue most places. I took him on the Rachni mission, his insights into Prothean-era Rachni and how they fit into this cycle were pretty fascinating. Some of the best lines in the game have been his, I think.

Awsome character! I didn't know what to expect when I found out we were getting a Prothean squadmate and I just finished the From Ashes mission and now doing the Palaven mission so I'm reading with blinders on to avoid spoilers. I think BioWare did a great job with him, lots of insight already and I want to learn more about him and the Prothean's so once I can have him healty enough to be a squadmate, I think I'll use him much more!

Liked this character so far, I also liked his mission especially the flash backs. Only 8 hours into the game.

First and foremost I like this character - if you listen more closely, he doesn't sound Jamaican as those racist arse kept knocking it for, instead he reminds me of oriental warriors, bushi if you're into Japanese, in those old western movies that features oriental warriors who do speaks English.

What drives my interest is the new insight Javik bring upon the Protheans...by what presented so far Liara gotta have to rewrite several of her papers...lol...

Did anyone take Virmire Survivor to the Eden Prime? I have been bugging the forum for the whole day now trying to chose whether I want Javik as soon as possible (I DO) or I want to wait for Ash to recover. If I chose to wait and then there is no special dialogue, I will be pissed.
Also Javik+EDI are my ultimate squad. Future ultimate squad

Javik seems like he's got a lot of anger to work out.

Also it might sound kinda cruel, but considering the Protheans enslaved other races or left them to die, I feel less sorry for them being wiped out.

I waited till Ashley had recovered and frankly I regret it. She says one or two lines that are semi-interesting, but no where near as interesting as what Javik says in some of the earlier missions while Ashley is in the hospital.

I like him. Although I only once had him in my squad, I like going to him after every mission and hearing his comments on it or listening to him talking with the other squadmates through the intercom.

Liked his comment about Garrus that "he's a good sniper, but he'd be better with 4 eyes" or something like that.

I really like him! His biotic abilities are fantastic and he always has something really interesting to say on missions. He's quite funny.

They're not going to recognize a Prothean by looks, you know. And Javik isn't one to go yelling it without being asked first.

They're not going to recognize a Prothean by looks, you know. And Javik isn't one to go yelling it without being asked first.

There actually was one scene on the citadel in the embassies where everyone was like "OMG A PROTHEAN!?", but I agree, most people probably aren't going to know he's a prothean just by looking at him(Though they might be curious as to what he is since they haven't seen that species before).

Was one of my favourite squad members, though.

The second I heard his demo-yanked sound files, I knew it'd be him and Garrus all the way home(Except when other characters were more relevant to a certain mission, then it'd be him and that other character). After actually talking with him a bit(I'm still very early in), I absolutely love the guy.
He's kind of a dick, but that's honestly what I'd hoped he be like. And the revelation that the Prothean's were kinda renegade-style dicks is a shocker(also totally loved his ashes-of-a-trillion-ghosts line). Sadly, I haven't yet had the chance to take him out for real, but I'm waiting for that moment with bated breath.

when you get him you have one mission where he needs to recouperate, so basically you could take him to palaven's moon, you'd just have to do another mish first.
