So I created an Origin account this morning, using the same email address and password as my BSN account, thinking that would link them, right?
I've installed and played ME3 using the Origin login, which, as stated, is the same as my BSN login. When I click on Register Games > Register ME3 (PC) it tells me that I don't own it.
When I go to My Games > Registered Game Content it says I can't post in the ME3 forums, but I *HAVE* played it while logged into this Origin account.
So if using the same email address and p/w doesn't link them, can someone explain what I've done wrong and how to link them? All the 'help' links assume that my email address' are different, which they aren't.
New Origin account not linked (No ME3 on BSN profile)?

Have you played the game yet? Or just installed it?

I haven't been able to play it yet, I've installed it but keep getting an Invalid Cerberus Login error that cycles, forcing me to ctrlaltdel out. I'm on hold with EA customer service atm.

Ok, hopefully they're able to help. From my understanding the things we check to give game registration here on BSN will only be there after you fire up the game for the first time.

Problem is probably associated with an old ME2 install on different hard drive.
Long story short, I had ME2 and winXP installed on a mechanical drive (in different partitions). I wiped the XP partition when I upgraded to an SSD and win7, the partition with ME2 stayed however. I reinstalled ME2 on the SSD, but I had to manually delete the ME2 install on the old drive as there was no uninstall option (it was thinking that it wasn't installed, yet another component would still say 'yeah it's over here' essentially).
Somehow there are lingering registry entries or something that's causing ME3 to check for a (now defunct) cerberus code.
I'll be uninstalling ME2 and ME3, cleaning registry (although I can't for the life of me, figure out how a registry entry would migrate from a wiped partition to my current SSD), and reinstalling ME2/ME3.
Will update again in a few hours once I finish uninstall/reinstalls.
EDIT: Whoops, posted into wrong thread /sigh. Long day.
