Potentially spoilerish, but I doubt it. You've been warned.
After the first Mars mission, after Ashley is taken to the infirmary on the Citadel, and I talk to the council, I go to return to the Normandy. There, it loads some sort of dream sequence or something, where I see "the child." He runs a few feet, laughs, and then I get dumped to the desktop. I'm waiting to hear back from EA, but I'm putting more faith in the wisdom of crowds. AMD quad core, 3 GB RAM, NVidia 9500GT, latest drivers, and nothing running but AVG and, of course, Origins (which is the biggest memory hog up other than ME3 when it dies). Any help would be most appreciated.
I'm going to try the repair install option on Origin, continue to wish I could've gotten the game through Steam (which eats about a third the memory that Origin does on my box), disable the Origin overlay in the game, and give it another try. If any of that works, I'll post an update.
