start the upload but at 40% u can stop it i hope or then pick what sde to kill or save, i failed because i did not keep her from getting exiled and i rewrote the geth. if i had done either i'd have saved both in this game.
ill do it on my femshep play i just went with the wrong import grrrrrrrrr

I rewrote the geth, and still managed to bring peace and have Tali live. Rewriting makes your geth allies stronger, as shown in the war assest console.

First playthrough I panicked when Tali urged Legion to stop... Unfortunately Geth destroyed + I didn't do the fighter base in time.

Second playthrough = peace aqcuired. Unfortunate about Legion. The Geth side of the equation looks harsh though... even for a renegade playthrough.

This was the most emotional part of ME3 I've ever played.

Is there any way to still get peace if tali was exiled and if you reprogrammed the heretics?

Also, sorry for adding the extra post below.

No.  You won't have enough points.  Time to pick a species to die.

Then who would you chose between the geth and the quarians? I want to save the geth since they don't deserve to die, but then tali dies. . .

It's a brutal choice. Yes, Tali's Shepard's friend, but she and most of the Quarians think that exterminating another species is ok if they're synthetic, self-aware or not.

Assuming I didn't know about the ending, I'd say ParaShep would be obliged to side with the Geth (he's not one to allow one people to oppress another), while ReneShep would side with the Quarians due to them at least being a known quantity (along with having the biggest fleet around).

Okay so, this has been posted many times, but I'd like to confirm.

In Mass Effect 2:
-I saved Tali from Exile.
-I Re-Wrote the Heretics.
-Tali survived, Legion survived.
-I kept both of them loyal by solving their problem down at the AI Core.

In Mass Effect 3:
-I saved the admiral, not his men, with the paragon option.
-I destroyed the Geth ship.
-I don't have 100% paragon, but I have reached the very Last section.

Am I legible for saving both?

Tell Quarians to destroy Geth, then Legion starts begging persuade you as his civilization, wont die in this moment if you have enough paragon you can select "no one die today!" and make peace, I see all 3 animations, and cant life with Tali's death ... I love her big booty...

You should be.  Don't need 100% P.  I had 60% P / 100% Rep.  Upload code.  At about 40% you should be able to interupt Admirals and warn them off with P option.

In ME2 you have to make sure Tali is not exiled and in ME3 you must do the admiral mission and geth flier mission to get enough "points" to get peace.

You must save the admiral also, through the renegade decision, or through the charm/intimidate option if available.

Yeah, it's necro day. But for the newbs....

* side with the Quarians and kill off the Geth. It makes your choice in the end easier.

I do not have Tali in my ME3 she died in ME2 I think I cant get both of them to survive :(

If you want them to survive in me2, choose tali for the pipe mission as the tech expert and Garrus/Jacob for the leader of the other team. Choose mordin to escort the survivors and most importantly make sure youdo their loyalty maiions and have enough renegade/paragon to love the two arguments between legion and tali/Miranda and jack. If you want more help go on the mass effect wiki for a walkthrough.

I really wish I could have brokered a peace between the two, but that's what I get for playing Paragade. Apparently you need to have about 4-5 bars worth of Paragon or Renegade, and I was just barely short of the cut. Really bummed that Tali dies.

Reputation is different, it is combined paragon/renegade but all that matters is how full the bar i, you can makee either decision if it is full enough Ex: Brokering peace, i'm full renegade but coud choose paragon du to rep.

There must be another way to make peace because I played ME2 and do everything but Tali was exiled and I don't have a save for before the meeting and I don't know if I should start a new game or not any tips?

- Destroy the geth heretics, and settle the Legion/Tali arguement with paragon/renegade option - note, this has to be settled in the AI core and not by talking to one of them seperately afterwards (ME2)
- Save Admiral vas Qwib-Qwib, complete the geth fighter squadron mission, and have at least 4 blocks of reputation (ME3)

Do all of these and you should be able to get peace, even with Tali exiled.
