 I know where i need to go to access the data, but the icon to open it does not show. Has anyone finished this mission?

I think I'm having the same problem. Is it the one outside of the refugee camp?

Yes. The one near the entrance to the place, and then in the back. I am getting an indicator for neither.

I finished it no problem. I am on the Xbox 360 if that matters.

Edit:  did you use the terminal back at the Emmpasies before going to the Dock?

I am on the 360 as well, and yes I did. I want to do this quest because katsumi is in it and I need the assets.

I think it may be glitched depending on how you 'start' it. I went into the Spectre office right after talking to the Salarian Spectre and activated the tracking thing first - I thought I'd need to in order to find the terminals.

I immediately left the Spectre room and found the first terminal, right outside the hanar's suite. No problem. Then I went to E-24 and terminal number two won't fire. Neither will terminal number three. I'm standing in front of it, staring at it, but no dice. Maybe if I'd talked to the Salarian, then hit the terminals, then come back to Spectre central it would have fired properly? I don't know, but I do know if you move onto Tuchanka and begin those 'priority' missions, this quest is gone. It gets marked a failure.

I take it there's still no work around for the 360 on this one?

Save and reload. That helped me.

I'm having a similar problem. I have already accessed the first three terminals but when I go back to access the last one I can't. All that happens is that I get the access icon on the door behind it.

My problem also persists with the Automated Turret quest.

Got the same problem, went to Spectre office and met up with Kasumi but then when I tried to go into the Hanar office (near the lift), the terminal was there but activating it did nothing. I'm a completionist so I want this done before I finish the game, I'm hoping Bioware will fix this in a patch ASAP.

I think I actually did activate that one and a conversation played, but no visual update happened on the screen (exp, credits, reputation etc). When I go to the docks there is a terminal there but I cant interact with it, the interact icon is on the door behind it which is completely inaccessible.

same issue, the terminal in the refugee area does not work, the one that was near the elevator, that lead you to the other terminal did work (at point to get list of names etc.)

I'm on the PS3 version, haven't been able to find a fix for it yet.

Have you tried to do it without leaving the Citadel, immediatly after getting the quest ? It only works for me when i don't return to the Normandy before finishing it. (strange, yes)

Sadly, no. I got the quest and ended up playing pretty far into the game before coming back and doing it. I hadn't completed the Citadel mission with Cerberus yet, but I didn't have an old save file that I could go back to, anyhow--and even if I had one, I probably wouldn't have chosen to lose all that game time.

I'll just remember to do it when I eventually play through the game again, since it doesn't appear we'll be getting a fix any time soon.

Save reload.. usually works with the problems on the Citadel.

Had the same kinda problem with the door, wouldn't open or do anything, going to the apartments with Zaeed during the volus diplomat quest.

If you leave the Citadel after getting this assignment, you won't be able to finish it.

Weird that they haven't fixed this yet.

That's what I feared, which is a shame because it was great seeing Kasumi again.

Oh, well. I'll try it again when I play through the story sometime, and remember to finish it before leaving the Citadel.
