Some random person claiming that such an ending exists does not constitute proof.

In any case, after beating the game in 14h I can assure you that I will ditch ME3 in favour of MW3 and won't be doing a NG+ any time soon so this question is really completely academic.

New game plus

Once you beat the game, you have the option under "new game" to import your ME3 Shepard. You retain war assets and weapons or something like that, im not really sure. Basically, if you beat the game a second time there is supposedly a different ending haha.

New Game Plus. Or the second playthrough with a character you've already beaten the game with.

New Game Plus.

Allowing you to start a new game with all the unlocked gear/weapons/items/upgrades from previous playthroughs. It's an extremely rare concept that only pops up every once in a while in games....and usually ****ed up somehow (like ME2).

Thank you for the drastically better explanation ^_^

That NG+ ending mention has been known about for some time. The person who got a space edition managed to extract all the endings out of the game and the only ones there are the ones we know about.... well those of us who frequented the Spoiler forum know about at any rate.

It's probably just an error in the guide, since it was printed before the game went gold.

Otherwise it would be a bit added to the end of the end, perhaps that bit I keep hearing folks raging about.

I dunno man, unless they just axed the ending all together... all the other endings everyone else has seen are all in the guide too.

I don't know exactly how the endings play out ingame - but I've seen them all on Youtube. However, there's another little bit that's tacked onto the end, post credits. I don't know whether this occurs all the time or just on NG+ runs, but it's exactly where 'secret endings' generally are kept - like those hidden trailers in Kingdom Hearts - so this may be it.

To be entirely fair, I finished a playthrough in about 16 hours as Vanguard on default difficulty.

I'd say about half was turning on subtitles and mashing the dialouge skip button (I read WAY faster than they speak), and half was the complete and total OP-ness of Charge + Nova + Evi.  Vanguard is just a fast class on lower difficulties.

Can I just mention that you are misreading it?
The game saves just before the last mission so you can redo it and get a different ending (as in one of the ones you didn't pick first time around.)

Provided you are talking about the bold part in the bottom left of the page.

I don't think it's there, and it wouldn't be the first time I've seen the Prima Strategy guide get something wrong :P

I've heard all sorts of rumours like needing a fish and the like. Nothing could be datamined so i'm skeptical if it was something that was around when the strat guide was planned/written but later removed.
